Super User roadwarrior Posted October 5, 2009 Super User Posted October 5, 2009 Wow! No-name O & D kick some Cowboy butt! ;D ;D ;D Quote
Super User flechero Posted October 5, 2009 Super User Posted October 5, 2009 Granted, I only saw a few minutes of it but I would say that the Cowboys did more for Denver than Denver did. Classic case of Dallas losing a game... not a case of Denver "winning" it. Quote
fish-fighting-illini Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Congrats RW the Bronc's deserve a break and Jerry Jones deserves what he got. You are a Bronco fan right? If so... in Tennessee no less what's up with a Bronco fan in Tenn? Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted October 5, 2009 Author Super User Posted October 5, 2009 We lived in Denver 1981-1997, for most of the John Elway era. BTW, I have several "Favorite Teams" and the Cowboys are near the top of the list. Whether the Boys beat themselves really doesn't matter. The most lame excuse, but my favorite: "We would have won if we hadn't run out of time (or if we had scored more points!)" The record reads, Denver 17 - Dallas 10. Denver is, surprisingly, 4-0. ;D ;D ;D ;D Quote
Steven Ladner Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 I'm glad they're finally winning. Their record over the past few years has been weak. This season I'm finally proud of being a bronco, and a Miss St. fan Quote
seyone Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Any team that beats the Cowgirls are my favorite team. Quote
Super User grimlin Posted October 5, 2009 Super User Posted October 5, 2009 Any team that beats the Cowgirls are my favorite team. X2! I just want to watch Jerry Jones cry....Even the Cowboy fans hate him.... Quote

BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted October 6, 2009 BassResource.com Administrator Posted October 6, 2009 Great game. Broncos brought their "A" game, and it showed. Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted October 6, 2009 Super User Posted October 6, 2009 Any team that beats the Cowgirls are my favorite team. X2! I just want to watch Jerry Jones cry....Even the Cowboy fans hate him.... Yep, I hate those 3 Super Bowl Trophies he's added to the Cowboys Trophy case. Thats 5 total. Some fans like to hate Jerry for firing or letting Tom Landry go the way he did. I also see the other owner as throwing Tom under the bus. New owner, new management, its life. RW, Was working and didn't see the game yesterday. Normally, playing at Mile High means throw out any past stats with these two teams. If I have any positive spin for this season, we have come out of the gate fast the past 2 years with Romo and ended the season on a bad note. I also realize that you don't add 6 new starters on defense and expect to see results immediately. Maybe we peak in Dec in stead of PUKE in Dec. At least we have had two winning seasons as opposed to 10 losing seasons, thats some progress I guess. Hookem Quote
detroit1 Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 I thought the Bronco fans were miffed about the changes from last year and wanted the owner to show up missing...i guess they're changing their tune now...congrats to 4-0! Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted October 7, 2009 Super User Posted October 7, 2009 How Bout them Broncos. I think a few fans thought Cincy game was luck and not sure of their team. I can assure you, them Broncos got some game, and I never thought the Broncos win was a fluke. Good teams find a way to win, and thats what Denver did, no matter the caliber of team you play, Dallas finds a way to lose, not the sign of a good team. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted October 8, 2009 Author Super User Posted October 8, 2009 I thought the Bronco fans were miffed about the changes from last year and wanted the owner to show up missing...i guess they're changing their tune now...congrats to 4-0! Other than Champ Bailey and perhaps a couple of personal favorites, we don't know anything about these guys. From what I have heard and read, 6-10 was the talkl: Both Oakland and KC twice, then "get lucky" for two more! 8-) Quote
Uncle Leo Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Bears and Broncos in Super Bowl? That would be sweet! ;D Quote
llPa1nll Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Patriots @ Broncos, has the making of a really good game. Will be a good judge of what caliber of team they both are. Are the broncos really a 4-0 team? Are the Patriots finally hitting their stride? Either way should be a great game. Patriots have faced 2 undefeated teams in consecutive weeks. Go Pats... Quote
fishinfewl Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 They didn't give away any secrets during the pre-season that's for sure. Quote
Jake. Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 The Broncos started 4-1 last year, and ended up at .500 and out of the playoffs. With a new head coach and a questionable QB, I can't wait to see how they will finish this season. ;D Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted October 8, 2009 Super User Posted October 8, 2009 Everybody seems to like Drew Brees, so do I. Whats that have to do with Mr. Orton? Well, he broke most of Bree's records at Purdue. I always liked Orton. I also think the Bears were a run, run, run team and let the defense win the game and never had great talent at wideout position like he does now. 97 passer rating speaks for his performance and 4-0. Nice thus far. Quote
