detroit1 Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Somebody is going to be the first team to lose to the Lions, and i think it will be today. Our local paper says that Zorn is on the hotseat, and could possibly be the end of him if he loses today. I'm looking for redskin fan's opinions for this game and their coach.....later Quote
Sfritr Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Never underestimate the power of the Lions.......... Somehow, someway they will find a way to lose... It is their destiny If the Lions ever start winning you will know the end is near...... Quote
Super User Sam Posted September 27, 2009 Super User Posted September 27, 2009 Even the Richmond Times-Dispatch newspaper says Detroit will win. I don't think so, but it should be a very entertaining game. Quote
Super User Lund Explorer Posted September 27, 2009 Super User Posted September 27, 2009 Zoiks, a mental image of Jim Nabors singing "To Dream the Impossible Dream" just popped into my head. I think Gomer has got a better chance of making General! Quote

Super User SirSnookalot Posted September 27, 2009 Super User Posted September 27, 2009 I'm old enough to remember them as a championship team, but I still call them the Pontiac Pussys & when they were at Briggs Stadium not Tiger Stadium. Their destiny is to lose and they always find a way, anyone remember Tom Dempsey? " I WAS BORN, RAISED & CONFUSED IN DETRROIT "......CHARLEY MANOS any one see the new time magazine ? Quote

Super User Sam Posted September 27, 2009 Super User Posted September 27, 2009 Great win for the Lions. The Deadskins don't look that good this year. All that money to play football and the Deadskins play poorly. > Quote

Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted September 28, 2009 Super User Posted September 28, 2009 Typical for us Lions fans...................They FINALLY play a game worth watching, and it's not a sellout. Falcon Quote

Might take hiring a few more guys to fill in the holes. I don't think he's replaced very soon. Then again, Synder is eccentric and could fool me and fire him today. Quote
detroit1 Posted September 28, 2009 Author Posted September 28, 2009 Thanks for the positive replies, gents. (sorry new angler) If the Lions lost, the talk about starting Cullpepper this year would never end. LOTS of room for improvement, but it's a start. Quote
NewAngler Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 theres one thing conclusive about the loss to lions.. i now have NOTHING to do on sundays. but fish i guess. Quote

Hey, sorry about that jab yesterday and I hope that hangover is gone by now. Look at the bright side, most of us guys from Michigan are done fishing until spring because we winterized our boats Sunday afternoon.... You know where must have just frozen over! Quote
