What kind of internet connection do you have? Are you using a laptop? Also, at what time of day is it taking a long time to load?

I would exchange the new Fireline computer for a new Thinkmate  ;D

I've never had a problem and I'm on here all the time.

It's probably your connection.

I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago.  Glenn suggested a few things, talked to the isp people.  I dealt with it for a week or so,  and I guess fixed itself.  Been working fine so far.  Only thing we could come up with was the problem started after Firefox updated versions.  I dunno.

All I can say for sure is, "loading slow" is an understatement.

Mine is slow again also.  Have tried everything I can do on this end to no avail.  Guess will live with it and not be on here as much.

It has always loaded slow for me, with the old computer and this new new one. It's fine once it loads, though.

I'm a regular on a several other forums (a few with much more traffic than this site), and this is the only one that loads slowly.

Guys, this is one of the very few forums that automatically checks grammar and spelling when you post a message.  Due to all of the spelling and grammar atrocities that are being perpetuated these days, the server slows down to a crawl trying to figure out what people are trying to say.   ;D
