Man times have sure changed

Times sure have changed:

At the age of 9, 1973. I threw a snowball at a (new) neighbours picture window, he came out yelling, my response was "aaa shut up" and ran.

Well he proceeded to chase me down and bury me face in the snow. So when my dad came home I told him.  We jumped in the car and drove to the new neighbors house.  Just so have it dad knew the new guy on the block, they shook hands a hugged liked old best friends, my heart went into my throat and felt sick and scared to my stomach..on the short drive back up the street dad didn't say a word.

But when I got home....yup you know it. I got another beating. Try that nowadays, touch some one else's kid, or even threaten them and you'll end up in jail.  Times have changed
