Koop Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 :-/ Our defense won that game for us. Our offense was garbage except for a hand full of plays and of course Jennings burning that corner who stumbled for the winning TD. Barbre will most likely be replaced after getting made to look like a rag doll by Ogunleye. If not, and he can't step up, that is going to be a gaping hole in our offensive line the entire season. Uncle Leo Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 I am happy the Bears have given Packer fans some reason to rejoice. Quote
Little Luey Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 I am a life itme Bears fan relocated in Az now. I don't think it was all Cutler's fault! It has more to do with the fact that they still don't know each other and are not familiar with each other tendencies. It will take time for QB and WRs to get confortable with each other, so I am looking at maybe week 5 before they start putting up really good numbers. As bad as it was, Cutler had over 250 yards for the game, when was the last time a Bears QB had that kind of yards? They will be fine, just give them some time, we waited 20+ years for a good QB, we sure can wait a few more weeks. The real killer was all the injuries and the fact that it was the rival Packers they lost to. > Quote
Little Luey Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Oh, they break my heart every season, why do I ever expect differently.? I understand what you are saying, but hate is such a strong word. I feel disapointed. Cutler is still better than Grosman! Quote
