Well after the car gets vandalized over the weekend, work was a huge headache (can't wait to get out of the group I am in). I get some time so I head out fishing to get away a little. Get one bite, hook into a decent fish lose it by having the trailer hook on the spinnerbait come off. Then proceed to break one of my rods, only about 2 months old. So now have to figure out how I am going to replace it. Somewhere, somehow I need to catch a good break....

 Have to paraphrase this:

What did you do rob a bank to get all this karma?  ;)

Things always turn around, hang in there.

Houldn't be to hard to figure out.  Any decent rod would be warrantied and would cost around $20 (shipping) to replace.
