Big Phish Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Is anyone else as excited as I am for the new season? The whole Seinfeld crew back together? And the return of the Blacks? This is gunna be one to watch people! Quote
Steven Ladner Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 I haven't seen any previews for it. Seinfeld is one of my top shows though. Quote
Big Phish Posted September 10, 2009 Author Posted September 10, 2009 Well the story behind this season is that there's going to be a Seinfeld reunion. Jerry, Julia-Louis, Jason Alexander and Micheal Richards are all going to be in most of the episodes. I also saw in the previews that they're going to be on the actual Seinfeld set. Should be a really good season. Quote
Koop Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 I just heard about this last night, sounds very cool. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted September 11, 2009 Super User Posted September 11, 2009 One of the best shows HBO has produced. I'd like to eat dinner with Larry David. Talk about different worlds... If you haven't seen it, just think Seinfeld with cussing. Quote

Super User SirSnookalot Posted September 11, 2009 Super User Posted September 11, 2009 I love the show, my wife says my personality is identical to Larry David and my oldest friend( deceased had the same looks and mannerisms as Richard Lewis). I've always loved the ensemble cast, especially some of the borscht belt comedians, like Shelly Berman. An understanding of Jewish culture magnifies the humor even more, one example off the top of my head is when Larry wants to dig up his mother's grave because of a tattoo. Quote
D4u2s0t Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 i've never got into curb your enthusiasm, but I can't wait for the reunion. Seinfeld is my all time favorite show, I have all 9 seasons, and know majority of the episodes inside out. I watch it pretty much every day. No other show I could do that with. Quote
Bull Hurley Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 I may have to add HBO just so I can watch or at least DVR it. Quote
Tokyo Tony Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 You guys would want to eat lunch with LD? Man, it would likely turn into a very embarrassing experience It would be interesting though. Quote

I'm not sure what you mean by that but theres not an actual Seinfeld reunion. It's just the premise for the new season of Curb. And if you like Seinfeld that much I would seriously recommend getting your Curb on. Quote

It's going to be the first time they have all been together, and they're going so far as to bring back the writers, cameraman, grips, etc. and it's going to be on the seinfeld set. I'd call that a reunion! lol. regardless of what it's called, i'm lookingforward to it. Quote
Big Phish Posted September 11, 2009 Author Posted September 11, 2009 ooooo Ok, for a second I thought you thought there was actually gunna be a seinfeld reunion. Quote
D4u2s0t Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 nah. it should be good though. I wonder what it's going to be like, is it going to be like seinfeld episodes? or is it going to be totally different. I have been waiting for years for them to come up with what happened after they got out of jail. Many didn't like the finale, I did though. But the cast was so done at the end, I figured it would never happen. I'm really looking forward to this though lol. I'm beyond a seinfeld fanatic, it's kinda sad when you think about it. Quote
