pipho Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 I have been wondering weather I should use lil critter craws on my jigs as trailers or sweet beavers? What is everyones preference? If sweet beavers should I use the smallie size or regular size? Quote

WABass Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 75% of the time I use a grub as a trailer, the other 25% I use a yamamoto craw as a trailer, just my 2cents Quote
HPBB Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 I have tried the sweet beaver, and the Brush hog, as trailers, but still like a good old Zoom Big salty chunk. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted January 19, 2007 Super User Posted January 19, 2007 GYCB Fat Baby Craw Quote
Valascus Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 I use a TON of different trailers. I will use beaver style baits, spider grubs, single tail grubs, brush hogs, pork chunks, paca craws, YUM! Crawbugs, ZOOM! swimmin' chunks and super salty chunks, the tail end of used up worms, Joe's Jig Trailers...heck, anything that looks good on the business end of that jig. I think my biggest downfall in trailer selection is that I don't really mix and match enough color wise. I generally like to match my jig and trailer colors. Quote
Guest Texas_Bass_Pro Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 baby brush hogs, grub worms, twin tail grub worms, Lake Fork craw Quote

llPa1nll Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 My first jig trailer of preference is a Uncle Josh #11 Black pork trailer. After that I would go with a GYCB Twin Trailer. I also use Zooms Super Chunk and the sweet Beaver and Smallie Beaver. Quote
jigfisherman Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 I use the Netbait Paca chunks or YUM chunks. Quote
