Daniel A. Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 As a Packer fan, I bet you love the Favre quote about finally feeling at home. Favre is such a tool. Quote

NewAngler Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 This guy is a joke, for sure. I had the most respect for him when he hung his hat up the first time. And even the second time, even sort of rooted him with the jets-- now his on his once hated rival, I cannot root, respect or watch this fella. Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted August 23, 2009 Super User Posted August 23, 2009 Man crush perhaps ? Quote
Super User grimlin Posted August 23, 2009 Super User Posted August 23, 2009 I'm a Packer's fan,but this actually ticks me off.Lost all the respect i once had for him. Quote

Bret's the man and i dont care who he plays for, i enjoy watching him play. He has dominated the sport. He might be getting older but he can still play ball, and as long as he wants to play i want to watch! Ya'll can hate him all you want, but theres no dought hes a great quarterback. Quote

tritz18 Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 I will give it to him that he is a good player, but the fact is he isn't one anymore. Just gotta realize when to quit and get on with life, my prediction is a horrible season then a whole offseason of him complaining and trying to decided if he wants to retire or not. Quote
Eddie Munster Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Drama Queen and Attention Oar. This guy's sacrificed his legacy in an attempt to avenge himself on the Packers when they weren't at fault. He retired, they drafted accordingly and once he saw he was replaceable he changed his mind. Right now, I'd much rather watch Mike Vick play than to see this clown. Quote

Ur talking about one of the best 5 quaterbacks to ever play the game. He did help the jets...just not down the stretch. Plus he has the best running back in the nfl which will take alot of the pressure off. Either way Brett Farve is the MAN Quote
BigOleBob Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 <------------- I liked him when he looked like that. :'( Quote
Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted August 24, 2009 Super User Posted August 24, 2009 I agree, he is one of the top five quarterbacks to ever play the game, however I think he tarnished his legacy with his on-again-off-again retirement..............make up your mind already. Falcon Quote

Either way Brett Farve is the MAN Just because someone is one of the greatest of all time, does not mean they are great NOW. Joe Montana's last couple seasons weren't exactly great, neither were Dan Marino's. In the last four years, how many times has Favre had more TD's than interceptions? I hope he has a great year, but lets not forget that he does have a torn rotator cuff. I wouldn't be surprised to see him light it up, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him falter later in the season as that arm starts wearing down. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted August 24, 2009 Super User Posted August 24, 2009 I'm TOTALLY bored with the drama. John Elway was THE MAN during his tenure, and that was an era of great quarterbacks. When it came time to hang up his gun, he retired with style and class. 8-) Quote
slider head Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Every DB in the NFC Central is licking thier chops..........guaranteed INT's! Quote
detroit1 Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Yes, the last 3 or 4 off - season shannanigans can drive one to cuss, but if someone is willing to pay and play him, why should he stay retired? It's his life, not your wishes my friends. Plus, i get to yell at him again this year! Quote
christopherjake Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 The guy missed training camp so obviously he's not willing to put in the work. He should have just stayed retired as I don't see him playing well this year. Quote
Super User CWB Posted August 25, 2009 Super User Posted August 25, 2009 He's had more lives than most cats! One of the Bears D-lineman is going to flatten him and that will put an end to it. Quote
