What is your favorite fast food place? I know some probably have local places that are really good, but lets keep it to national chains. Mc Donalds, Burger King, Wendys, Taco Bell, and Dairy Queen for example. If you want to add what you usually order at your favorite that would be great too.

Wendys: 5pc. nugget, Bacon cheesburger, Crispy chicken, Value fry, and an ice water. I will add a Frosty if I am really craving one.

* I've never calculated the calories or grams of fat, but it would be interesting to know.

I've gotten to the point where I'd rather go hungry than eat fast food. I've dropped 40 lbs in the past few months, working out and eating right. I'm not going to throw that away for the convenience of a drive-thru meal.

Subway is about as close as I get to fast-food now. Footlong Subway Club with spinach, tomato, and pickle. Toasted with no condiments, and I save half for lunch the next day.  ;)

Carls Jr

Local and all around fave:

In N Out

Is Carls Jr the west coast version of Hardees here in the east...saw a carls jr commercial once that was exactly like a Hardees commercial.

We have a Dairy Queen in my hometown that is an independent entity and not a part of the Brazier chain.  The food there is great.  Totally different menu than the chain stores and their hotdog sauce is amazing.

used to be Arby's but they lost all my respect when they did away with their regular fries.

now its Wendy's. Hardee's is pretty great too but there aren't any locally.

Subway's cold cut trio on honey oat bread with lettuce, onion and green pepper with a small amount of mayonnaise.Add a nice cold big bottle of water.

Probably the only thing i can eat that won't jack up my acid reflux problem.

My fave is easily Subway.  Sweet onion chicken teryaki & jalapeno chips.

Rick:  If Hardees & Carl's Jr aren't the same thing, I can't tell.  I've had both recently and everything looks and tastes exactly the same.  Excellent fried zucchini.

Five Guys. after eating In-n-Out last week for the first time in like 15 years, I can honestly say that I think Five Guys beats In-N-Out's burgers AND fries.

Dan. you are evil and so are they. Can;t believe you made me think about them again. Let me tell you I LOVE, absolutely LOVE their stuff. But you can feel your arteries hardening with every greasy and wonderful bite.  Definitely my favorite burger.

For those who have never been, if you go order the SMALL fry. I have not ever seen a large but I expect it comes in a wheelbarrow.

No Hardees? I've been in Cambridge for two weeks on a job. Had to stop in Baltimore first before I came here and must have passed 20 of 'em. No Hardees in Jersey :'(  Delaware is as far North that I can find them. They are good though.

No Dairy Queens, Hardee's, Arby's, In n Outs, Sonics, Carl Jrs, Bo-Jangles, Jack in the Box, or anything up here. All we really have are the typical fast food joints.

I second that...get the SMALL fries. They are way more than any one person can eat.

Favorite fast food is whatever is D.O.S.O.R (Dead On Side Of Road)

You may have to wait in line behind the buzzards if the kill has been there a while. Otherwise, the line isn't too bad.

McDonald's: Double quarter-pounder with cheese, no onions, with a large fry (including a copious amount of ketchup) and a Coke. Disgustingly unhealthy, but incredibly delicious.

I eat fast food maybe once a month now, tops, and it's usually just a snack wrap or two. There used to be a McDonald's in my old office building, and I was seriously addicted. Bad news. Sausage egg and cheese (dipped in a mound of ketchup before each bite), a hash brown, and a large, sugar-filled coffee for breakfast. I would then often indulge in my above-stated favorite for lunch. Needless to say, all of my clothes appeared to shrink rapidly. Fortunately, I've since recovered from my addiction.

I'm with stasher1 and llPa1nll. Haven't had fast food for a while, unless you call subway fast food.

If I had to choose I would say Five guys. Sonic is pretty good too, I like their drinks.

I am not really impressed with any fast food restaurants. Although, if I had to pick 1 I would choose sonic.

McDonalds: 2 Double cheeseburgers off the dollar menu, large fry, and a large dr.pepper.

That is what I eat when I'm going to tournaments, that is about the only time I really eat out.  I get the double mostly b/c its not offered around here on the dollar menu.  If im in town it is wendys jr. bacon cheeseburgers, thats usually right after work and before I go out on the town
