TommyBass Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Anyone got one? Tried one? Thought about getting or trying one? Looks like a pretty sweet gun, I'm in the market for a new auto load this winter. Quote
bowfish12 Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 I've thought about it but I'm going to pass on getting a "new" shotgun this year. The price on it is pretty good, compared to the SBE2 and Extrema. Looks like it is easy to take apart and clean, and it will shoot 3 1/2" shells, unlike Benelli's new Vinci. It looks like Benelli messed up on making that gun in only a 3" chamber. If you do get it start another thread on what you think about it. Quote
TommyBass Posted August 13, 2009 Author Posted August 13, 2009 Yea why the Vinci is only 3" confuses me. Ive did alot of reading on the Maxus and most early reviews seem to give it a good thumbs up but there arn't that many out and about yet. I generally hate buying something when it first comes out to market, but from the way it sounds Browning really put it through the ringer prior to production. Quote
bowfish12 Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 I don't think they have really released them yet, they said August/September, but with Browning you usually get quality. Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 I've shot a round of sporting clays with one. I've also put some 3.5" steel and turkey loads through one. great gun imo. Quote
