Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted July 23, 2009 Super User Posted July 23, 2009 I wish they would produce the cadbury eggs more than just for easter. I also like the white chocolate reese's but they are only out every so often. They might still make them but I really liked razzles as well. Quote
Super User Bassn Blvd Posted July 23, 2009 Super User Posted July 23, 2009 Bar B Que Fritos. You find them at Wally world every once in awhile but it seems like the Chili cheese flavor is the overwhelming favorite. Those are a touch too strong for my tastes. Those are in every store down here in Florida. Quote

I cannot remember if they were Fritos or not, but they were even better than just the regular BBQ. Quote
bigtimfish Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 When I was little we had these chocolate drinks called chocolate soldier. I have not seen those since i was about 8 Quote

Tokyo Tony Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Citrus Cooler was the best. It was also Michael Jordan's favorite flavor. Almond M&Ms were really good. I didn't love Crystal Pepsi, but I thought it was cool that it tasted like it did...but was clear. If Cheese Doodles (puffed) are ever discontinued, I wouldn't see the point in living. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted July 23, 2009 BassResource.com Administrator Posted July 23, 2009 Hey guys - thanks alot for all the offers to send me Suzy Q's. Muddy beat y'all to it and next week I should be tasting my first Suzy Q in about 20 years! 8-) Thanks Muddy! P.S. I'm pretty sure I've seen Dad's Rootbeer recently in my neck of the woods. I'll keep an eye out for it, and if I find it, I'll hook anyone up. Quote

Ps re the Dad's root beer thanks Glen but it probably wsan't good enough to warrant $20 shipping so don't kill yourself investigating. Quote
Super User grimlin Posted July 23, 2009 Super User Posted July 23, 2009 Mrs.Braid's bread stores are the only ones I've seen that still carry Suzy Q. So if you can't find them check your local Mrs.Braid's bread store if you have one. I have 2 in the area i know of here. Quote
Quitlimpin Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 I work right next door to a Dollar General. Back cooler is full of 32oz, ice-cold Dad's. I probably slam ten a week. Quote

Crystal Pepsi was something I am glad I did not drink much of. Around my JR year of HS (Probably 10 years after the stuff was discountinued from production) we found a 6 pack of Crystal Pepsi in the back of a storage closet at my HS. We decided to open it up and the stuff looked like molasses trying to poor it out. Quote
Super User Tin Posted July 24, 2009 Super User Posted July 24, 2009 Buffalo and blue cheese Cheezit Twists. Man those were good. WOW I miss those. Quote

Super User Bankbeater Posted August 6, 2009 Super User Posted August 6, 2009 Back in the early-mid 70's Birdseye made something called a thick-n-frosty. It was basically a milkshake that came frozen. Quote

Super User Redlinerobert Posted August 7, 2009 Super User Posted August 7, 2009 Sympatico Beer. I understand it;s supposed to come back. That was the best beer ever. Beer is a snack, right? Quote

powerman970 Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Magic Shell is one of my vices. They used to make a strawberry flavor as well as a butterscotch flavor but both have been discontinued and replaced with such flavors as cupcake and caramel...NASTY!!!! I want my butterscotch Magic Shell back. I also miss Chocolate Soldier drinks, these big M&M type candies called Oompa Loompas that had peanut butter in them, and another candy that I can't remember the name of to save my life but it was small bits of chocolate covered red licorice...mmmmmmmmm!!! Quote
Super User Sam Posted August 10, 2009 Super User Posted August 10, 2009 The original Barq's root beer had a kick to it. When Coke bought it out, they removed the kick as people who were not from Louisiana or Mississippi can't take the kick. I love the Barq's bite and will always get the original formula when visiting Louisiana. Nothing like a cold Barq's and a roast beef po-boy on a hot day. Quote
detroit1 Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Sam and Muddy...i thought you were going to say PENNY CANDY! How about pizza spins? haven't seen those for awhile. Quote
