daviscw Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 I'm just glad this isn't another music thread. Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted August 3, 2009 Author Super User Posted August 3, 2009 You suck. Look whos back? Where you been? Ballet camp? Quote
Super User Sam Posted August 3, 2009 Super User Posted August 3, 2009 Just remember, a Bull shark can live in fresh water and the Bull shark is the most dangerous of all sharks. So don't fall out of the boat when bass fishing!!!! Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted August 3, 2009 Super User Posted August 3, 2009 You suck. Look whos back? Where you been? Ballet camp? Yeah, I've been around scantily dressed women for the last few months. It tends to cut into my forum time. I just couldn't pass up you dissing shark week. Quote
srv1990 Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 We're leaving this Friday for some beach time in Gulf Shores and I'm trying to convince my 8 yr old son that maybe he shouldn't spend so much time watching SW shows Quote
Super User Micro Posted August 3, 2009 Super User Posted August 3, 2009 Everything else on TV sucks more. The level of suckage on TV is the highest I've seen it in many years. Quote

When I saw that stupid *** "Time Warp" on the History Channel I felt like crying. How the hell is that even remotely history related? Throwing pinatas into wood chippers? Entertaining? A little. Educational/informative? Hardly. Quote

What? You dont think the Mayans were wrong do you? ;D ;D This whole mess started back during her last school year. She had free time in her computer lab and some kid brought up a YouTube video that showed the destruction of the earth. She's a bright kid who gets A's and B's, but she's still just a ten year old kid. Sooner or later (hopefully sooner) this will pass and she'll go back to worrying about what ten year olds worry about.... Quote
Quitlimpin Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 I have to agree on this one. But I never get tired of seeing a Great White flying out of the water and blowing a seal in two. Quote
Daniel My Brother Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Shark week sucks. And yet I can't stop watching... Quote
Super User J Francho Posted August 4, 2009 Super User Posted August 4, 2009 Shark week sucks. Yep. Way too much sensationalism centered around freaking shark attacks. Very little research or educational programming the past couple of years. I used to look forward to shark week. Now I flinch when stepping in a puddle. Quote
Eddie Munster Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Shark week sucks. And yet I can't stop watching... X2. Basically they're rehashing the same attacks we've seen over and over. They had Survivor Man Les Stroud count down the 5 deadiliest places for shark attacks. Man, he over dramitized the crap out of it and it was almost unwatchable. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted August 4, 2009 Super User Posted August 4, 2009 I like watching some of those shark programs but I don't feel bad if I miss one. I am the beach daily (before sunrise mostly) and I do not wade, I stand back. A lot of bull sharks off the beaches here and I don't take a chance. I've seen them caught on bait, but I never caught or saw one swimiming. When I'm fishing off shore we see bull sharks almost every time we are out. Quote
