Anybody here got the scoop? Searching around the internet for information on this is making my head spin.

I don't really know what any of that means but there are some videos on youtube that show you how to "unbrick a psp"

You can unbrick by putting a psp battery that has been programed with some homebrew program by a homebrew compatible psp.

Thats kinda what I was seeing, but all of the places to get one of these look shady, and have horrible reviews.

I just nned someone who knows what they are doing that can just lay out the who what where and how .

I havent played my psp in 2 years, but just dug it out of the closet because I have been staying out of town for work and need distractions

Hell, I cant even get AVI movies to work.

would you then have to make said "backups" or could you procure them from "friends"?
