atx_newbie Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 It was a cool 80... 8-) During this time of the year is when i truly like the north. I'm with you there. Today got up to 88 in Chicago, the first real hot day of the year, and it felt crazy hot. I can't even imagine if i was still living in Austin. I think they've already had many consecutive days over 100. Quote

Super User Fishing Rhino Posted June 23, 2009 Super User Posted June 23, 2009 This is a great thread. I'm going to bookmark it. Next winter when all you Rebels are making fun of us Yankees being housebound or reduced to ice fishing, I'm gonna pull it up as a reminder that the place you call "heaven" in the winter is "hell" in the summer. Super User roadwarrior Posted June 23, 2009 Super User Posted June 23, 2009 97/ 49% humidity...Heat Index 110 Quote
Steven Ladner Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Only .2" of rain in the past month. It's 99 with a heat index of 108. With these temperatures and lack of rain, all the grass around here is pretty much dead. And the water temp is 88, the bass must be sweating. Quote
