Super User Dan: Posted June 9, 2009 Super User Posted June 9, 2009 GO WAHOOS! I go to UVA.. gotta root for the underdogs, this is our first ever trip to Omaha.. The year after I graduated my highschool played against the school that UVA's first baseman went to. Our team lost but their team went on to win the state championship. It's also the same high school that Justin Verlander went to. Quote

Super User Sam Posted June 9, 2009 Super User Posted June 9, 2009 Should be another fun CWS. LSU and Cal State in one bracket while Arizona State and Texas lead the other bracket. It is super to have UVA and Southern Miss this year in the tournament. Omaha loves it when LSU shows up. Lots of great fans and super food! Geaux Tigers! Quote

Super User Root beer Posted June 18, 2009 Super User Posted June 18, 2009 Hey Catt and Sam, One of the guys from my college Kyle Kooenman (sp) he will be playing baseball at LSU next year. He was NJCAA All-American and set my school record in homerun. My community college Walters-State is a power perennial in baseball. Our starting pitcher transfer to Tennessee. Matt, he was probably thinking softball. ;D Which had 3 SEC schools in their world series. I like women college world series softball. No shame in it. Quote
