People who drive in the rain without their headlights on. You gotta be kidding me. I see it more and more. I guess I notice it more because I drive 30,000+ miles a year for work.

You would think automakers would have caught on to this by now and have the headlights automatically come on when the wipers are turned on. Then again, that would be dumbing down the cars to the level of the drivers. Then they would just drive in the rain without wipers or headlights. Which would be fine if only the idiots crashed into each other and left the rest of us alone.

Here in new york they made that a law  , still some dont obey it.

Why dont car manufacturers just use running lights? I always drive with my headlights on just for the heck of it

It's a law here in New Jersey as well. It's not enforced, but it's a law.

I think that you may be right about seeing it more and more. I have a theory that it is because so many cars do come with automatic lights that when people drive other cars that don't they never think to turn their lights on.

For example my car may have automatic lights and my wife's doesn't. If i drive her car for some reason I'm not in the habit of turning them on. This is no excuse because you should be bright enough to notice when your lights are off.

On the last 2 cars I've owned the headlights are always on in a dimmer mode.

What really has been bothering me for years in Florida is almost every *******drives with their bright lights on. Don't they realize how it blinds other motorists? Worst of the bunch are the yahoos driving hi profile vehicles like suvs and pickups. Are they blind or just inconsiderate or plain stupid?

OR when somebody flashes you with their brights because they THINK your brights are on and they aren't.

I'm the fastest return brights flasher in the history of the world. "BOOOOOOOM, my brights aren't on, J.A.!!!!"

I've notice pick ups and SUVs lights are much brighter than the average car....I'm guilty of flashing my beams at a pick up once,only realizing he did it too.Lesson learned...i don't do it to pick ups or SUVs anymore.Cars,however,i can always tell when they have the brights on or not.

We also flash our beams here to warn you cops are near and looking for an excuse to catch you.So it's not always an insult to flash the beams at somebody. ;D

I would be careful who y'all go around flashing. Around here a Mexican gang drives around with their headlights off and shoots the first vehicle that flashes their lights at them.
