Pitchinkid Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Well its sad to say, but this looks like its gonna be the last month i get to fish for a while. Im moving to PA and my wife is staying behind until she has the baby, which isnt supposed to be till Nov. I will be coming back to WV every weekend but ill be with her.So fishing is on the back burner for once in my life. Hopefully i can find some kind of time to fish in PA, but its gonna be a while. The PA boys will be getting phone calls for sure. Im gonna need some numbers. Ill be near the Waynesburg area or washington area, so keep me in mind. Quote
Super User 5bass Posted June 9, 2009 Super User Posted June 9, 2009 Will this be a permanent move? How far will you be from WV? Almost forgot. If you have any fishing tackle or rods and reels that need a babysitter while you're not fishing, send 'em on down. Quote
Pitchinkid Posted June 9, 2009 Author Posted June 9, 2009 yes its permanent. Only about 30-45 mins outside WV, but the other end of the state. About 3 1/2 where i live now. Not too bad but still sucks Quote

I should have the cleanest reels known to man after im up there for a month. The poor hotel room will be smelling like JJ's in no time. Quote
Super User Muddy Posted June 9, 2009 Super User Posted June 9, 2009 Wow thats right about where Speedbead Lives ! Welcome to PA PitchinKid Quote
Super User 5bass Posted June 9, 2009 Super User Posted June 9, 2009 Dang, 3 1/2 hours? Who's gonna carry Jimzee in the club tournaments once you leave? ;D Quote
basser89 Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Ah, out there below Pittsburgh (had to google it). You're probably a little too far west to meet up with me for an outing. The closest I've fished to where you're moving is out by Bedford at a little lake called Shawnee. Not a bad place to fish and there are (or at least were) some good ones in there! That's gotta be tough on you living that far away with a little one on the way! Hang in there! Quote
Pitchinkid Posted June 9, 2009 Author Posted June 9, 2009 lol sweet. Like i dont have enough bad influences on my life, now i got wayne. As long as i stay away from his cooking i should be alright.(lol sorry man, i had too). im sure everything will work out. As far as carrying Jimzee the rest of the way, i think this weekend( if we dont get rained out) will be our last tournament this year unfortunaley. I have all the confidence in the world he could fish the rest by himself and win the overall points for us. Quote

Super User Jimzee Posted June 9, 2009 Super User Posted June 9, 2009 This is kind of bittersweet for me. On one hand, he will be a little closer to me. On the other hand, we are used to the way each other fishes and it would be hard to take on another tourney partner. I can't believe you are leaving me hanging like this...you suck. ;D I hope nothing but the best for ya bud, you deserve it. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted June 9, 2009 Super User Posted June 9, 2009 I guess I'll have to start driving 5 hours every other weekend to help you win some money. Quote
Super User cart7t Posted June 9, 2009 Super User Posted June 9, 2009 I guess I'll have to start driving 5 hours every other weekend to help you win some money. You fish tournaments that have prizes for smallest fish? Quote
Bull Hurley Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I guess I'll have to start driving 5 hours every other weekend to help you win some money. I'm not that far away either and looking at the schedule of the rest of the schedule all the places are around 3-3.5 hours away. So if you need a partner just give me a holler, not gonna say I can do any better than PitchinKid or Burley but I will dang sure give it my all. Quote

Super User cart7t Posted June 10, 2009 Super User Posted June 10, 2009 Good luck AJ. You're leaving one beautiful part of the country for another. Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted June 10, 2009 Super User Posted June 10, 2009 Cant wait to see their faces when they hear you playing your banjo.... ;D Congrats man. There are a few lakes between us if you ever want to meet in the middle. We'll talk about it at the WV Ball. ;D Quote
Jim Grouch Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 What's amazing is your catch rate won't even decrease. Quote
Lucky Craft Man Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 I know it always sucks to move, but look at the positive on this one. You are only 3 hours from Lake Erie (I fished the New River and Lake Erie and the Lake Erie Smallmouth are just a different breed of monsters) Quote
I Love BassResource Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 I know it always sucks to move, but look at the positive on this one. You are only 3 hours from Lake Erie (I fished the New River and Lake Erie and the Lake Erie Smallmouth are just a different breed of monsters) I can attest to that, those bronze backs are incredible.
