Super User CWB Posted June 5, 2009 Super User Posted June 5, 2009 If other, please note. If you disapprove of a team other than the one you voted for, keep it to yourself. Quote
Super User Muddy Posted June 5, 2009 Super User Posted June 5, 2009 I walked away from the game this year, until Selig and Fehr go away. With that being said, I grew up in a Brooklyn Dodger household, and now I am a Mets fan, but I will not go to or watch a game until those 2 are gone. CWB: Just for your information. Long before you became a member I started a Thread that was for talking trash , in a kidding way and it became one of the most popular threads on these forums. Hookem started it last year and Burley did this year. The thread is designed to have fun, and talk crap about each others team. It is a hardly a hateful thread. FYI Quote

Thus is all good natured fun but I had to get a jab in at all the Cubs haters out there. I think they're all just jealous. ;D ;D Quote
Super User Muddy Posted June 5, 2009 Super User Posted June 5, 2009 BTW , my favorite World Series, if the Met's are not in it would be CUBS VS INDIANS They could call it the Heartbreak Series, because 2 of the greatest and most loyal fan bases in the game would be on every pitch, only to have one group disapointed once again "It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone." Uncle Leo Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Ozzie is more entertaining then Lou, at least when it comes to the weather. Quote
Super User Muddy Posted June 5, 2009 Super User Posted June 5, 2009 Lou breaks more water coolers than Ozzie could ever! ;D Quote
Super User CWB Posted June 5, 2009 Author Super User Posted June 5, 2009 Ozzie is more entertaining then Lou, at least when it comes to the weather. I was wondering where that Sox vote came from. I will agree that Ozzie is more entertaining but that's cause he is a nut case himself. Lou is much more funny in the true sense of the word. 8-) Quote

Besides the Cubs suck. Quote

One of my cousins used to be the sports broadcaster for the Minneapolis news station, and was golfing buddies with Chuck Knoblauch. So some where i've got some nice autographs and memorabilia from the 87 & 91 Twins. Quote
