Zel Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Might be interesting to see some of the cars that members have owned or leased over the years. My favorite was my first... the 1960 Corvair... unsafe at any speed baby! Mine: 1960 Chevy Corvair 1966 Plymouth Fury 1972 Chevy Camaro 1980 Chevy Citation 1985 Chevy Citation 1987 Chevy Nova 1990 Chevy S10 Blazer 2001 Chrysler Voyager Since 1994, several Jeeps either owned or leased: 2 Cherokee Sports, 1 Grand Cherokee, 2 Liberty's, and 1 Commander. Super User J Francho Posted June 2, 2009 Super User Posted June 2, 2009 1977 Chevy Monte Carlo 1982 Pontiac Skylark "Bro-Ham" Edition 1977 Chevy Imapala 2-door Fastback rear window 1976 Ford Granada (Is that your new Mercedes?....No, its my new Ford...") Piece of crap. 1986 Olds Firenza 1982 Pontiac Bonneville 1986 Jeep Cherokee Chief 1987 Chevy Celebrity 1994 Chevy Camaro Z28 1987 Ford Taurus 1992 Chevy Lumina Sedan current: 1996 Nissan Maxima SE, 190K, a little rusty, scratched up, dinged, makes funny noises once in a while, but knock on wood - that car owes me nothing. Bought her new, and the only failure I had was a $900 transmission at 90K, which was probably my own fault for driving the snot out of her. Quote

Super User J Francho Posted June 2, 2009 Super User Posted June 2, 2009 I actually let myself get suckered into another, but it was a free beater to tide me over, and get me to work until I could buy a better car. I gave that second ford away to a young kid, and the freaking thing caught on fire day later! Oh well, LOL. Quote

tyrius. Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 I'm boring!!! Parents bought me a 1989 Grand Am when I turned 16. That car was a POS. When I graduated college I bought a 1999 Nissan Altima and gave the Grand Am back to my parents. I've put 119K on the Altima with no major issues (had to replace the exhaust and change out the switch for the drivers window). Looking to get another year or two out of it. My wife, got a Sundance when she was 16, when she graduated college she got a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse and now she drives our family car a 2003 GMC Envoy XL. Looking to get rid of it in the next few months. Upgrading to a minivan!!!! 8-) Quote

I really enjoyed the SVT and if Ford would have had something similar when I bought the Audi I may have purchased it. The Audi is an excellent car though and quite a lot of fun to drive. Quote
