Eddie Munster Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Haven't seen it yet. Want to though. Saddest movie for me may have been Saving Private Ryan. Seeing that coward live and all those good men die had me p!ssed off and sad. Quote
Super User Muddy Posted May 6, 2009 Super User Posted May 6, 2009 The Wedding video of me and my ex wife, It was the beginning of a long chronicle of misery Quote
srv1990 Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 The Wedding video of me and my ex wife, It was the beginning of a long chronicle of misery LOL... Unfortunately there was a similar "movie" in my past, but thankfully it's history -- both the marriage and the video. Just rec'd Ben Button yesterday from Netflix, the wife and I plan to watch it this weekend. Quote
Olebiker Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 What are you guys talking about? Every man of a certain age will confirm that "Ol' Yeller" is the saddest movie ever. Quote
SDoolittle Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 I guess I've been in Iraq too long. I've never even heard of "Curious Case of Benjamin Button". Quote
bass wrangler569 Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 For me its any movie where a dog dies. I just can't handle it. I can watch the saddest "people" movie in the world but if I watch a movie where a dog dies I'll cry like a baby everytime. :'( :'( :'( Quote
Super User Sam Posted May 7, 2009 Super User Posted May 7, 2009 The documentary on the search for Dotty was sad when they found her floating in the lake. Enough to make a grown man cry. :-X Quote
Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted May 7, 2009 Super User Posted May 7, 2009 What are you guys talking about? Every man of a certain age will confirm that "Ol' Yeller" is the saddest movie ever. Yep. And a close second is Where the Red Fern Grows I have seen Benjamin Button and it was a descent movie, but way too far fetched for me to consider it extremely sad. Quote
BassinSoldier Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Any of you seen "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" yet? wow...Also, I agree with the dog comment. The scene in "I am legend" where his shepherd dies had me holding my breath and staring at the floor, trying my best to keep my soldierly composure! Quote
