rippin_lips Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 After watching the first week or NHL playoffs, who looks good and who has been most disappointing? I like the Bruins and Penguins, they both have some weapons. I think San Jose has been the biggest disappointment. They have been playing no where near the level they are capable of. Any other hockey fans? Quote
Super User Tin Posted April 25, 2009 Super User Posted April 25, 2009 No one is going to be able to skate with Bruins. The Ducks are just rolling though... Quote
Super User bilgerat Posted April 25, 2009 Super User Posted April 25, 2009 Just watchin' my Flyers self destruct before my eyes............... As much as I hate to say it, Boston is on fire and will be hard to beat. I just hate the Penguins and that little *itch Crosby. Quote
Super User Sam Posted April 26, 2009 Super User Posted April 26, 2009 Red Wings, although I am a Flyers fan. Quote
Super User Tin Posted April 26, 2009 Super User Posted April 26, 2009 I just really want to see the Ducks win right now.... I hate west coast games...it is 11:15 here, 14 to go in the second period. And I have to be up at 4:00 to drive an hour and fish a tourney. Starbucks Double Shots will be a necessity. Quote
detroit1 Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 I don't care much for hockey, (soccer on ice to me), which is unfortunate because they are Detroits best team. It's over - the Wings win again. Whoopie! Quote
Captain Obvious Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Sharks did this last year against the Stars remember? Their just not physical enough to win in the playoffs,I HAYE DETROIT, I like to see the B's go all the way. JUST ANY TEAM BUT DETROIT!!!!!! Quote
Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted April 26, 2009 Super User Posted April 26, 2009 Don't forget where the Cup resides. Hate them or not, you have to go through Detroit to win it. Falcon Quote
frogtog Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Haven't been into it this year. How's the Cains doing? Do we have a chance of anything other than losing. : Quote
rippin_lips Posted April 27, 2009 Author Posted April 27, 2009 The Canes have actually held their own agains New Jersey. They won big last night to send the series to game 7. I guess like any sports, you have to get hot at the right time. Quote
Super User Tin Posted April 27, 2009 Super User Posted April 27, 2009 Ducks are going to knock out the Sharks tonight at home... Quote
senko_77 Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 The B's are gonna continue to roll. I hope they play the Ducks in the finals. Quote
Super User 5bass Posted April 28, 2009 Super User Posted April 28, 2009 The Rangers had the Caps on the ropes, then they just stopped playing like they had already won the series. I dont see them coming back after that Game 6 beatdown. That was ugly. I guess when the Rangers get 'bounced' I'll pull for the Bruins if Tin will slow down the bandwagon just enough so I can jump on. Quote
dave Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 I think I heard some commentators saying that every team in the playoffs were pulling for the Rangers. No one wants to play Washington. Rock the Red. Quote

Not a bandwagon fan... ;D All though then Habs came back from 3-1 a few years ago and won in 7 I almost walked away. It's about time they got rid of the Sinden theory. Quote
frogtog Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Well I didn't think the canes had a chance at anything. I watch my first game this year and they looked pretty good. Quote
