1inStripes Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 if you want a quick hammering...try a loaded beer........ take a corona, drink just the neck portion out of it..... put in one shot of tequila......(add the lime too, if thats your cup of tea) it tastes great , and well, you get the picture... tried this one on spring break in the bahama's many years back, and still do it on occasion ;D They do that at Margariteville's using Land Shark instead of Corona (their very similar) and call it a loaded land shark I believe. Pond Hopper Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 Fat tire amber ale or fat tire 156. Boulevard wheat, goose island, blue moon, or on a long night head for the rockies. The best beer I have ever had was a microbrew out of Moline, IL, called Mississippi Blonde. Time for a trip back home. Quote
daviscw Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 I hear Blue Moon and Sweetwater 420 are pretty good... Quote

moby bass Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 Favorite beer, an open one. Milwaukee's Best. Made by Miller, pretty much same as Miller for my uncultivated taste. At least 1/3 less in price. No hangovers, either. Quote
Daniel A. Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 If I'm having a couple... Sam Adams Boston Lager Sam Adams Light Sam Adams Octoberfest Guinness Amstel Light We have a store where I can mix a six pack from hundreds of beers. I love that place. If I plan on drinking more than a few, I'll drink Miller Lite. Anyone brew their own? I'd like to try brewing one day. Quote

1inStripes Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 I rarely drink, but tried Blue Moon on tap last year. It was good, but I got a headache as I was drinking it. Quote

I do enjoy the orange with a Blue Moon though. I went up to my neighbors house month ago, we was out on deck talking, he had orange twist all around his glass and beer pour into it. Gave it a more citrus flavor. There a beer that just came into stores just recently. Called "Woodchuck" brewed in Vermont. Not bad at all. Quote
