What kink of milk do you and or your family drink?

I was just curious as to how much things have changed over the years.

When I was a growing up all we ever had was whole milk at home and school until maybe high school?  We drink nothing but skim milk here now.

My wife has started watching a 9 month old and he is supposed to drink whole milk. There is about 6oz left of a 1/2 gallon ea week and I am the only one who will drink it. My kids have known nothing other than skim. Man whole milk still tastes good but even 6oz a week is probably too much.

PS.  I thought about making a bunch of spelling errors. That combined with a poll I figured might have made Long Mike's day! lol

White milk, although I love chocolate milk.

We switched to skim milk 5-6 years ago. I can't stand the flavor of whole milk now. I feel like it's so thick and just too rich.

My family had weaned ourselves down to skim for about 4-5 years and had gotten used to the taste, but recently I bought some 1% and seem to like it better.

I grew up on a dairy farm and we drank it straight from the tank (two to three gallon jars a week).  Good stuff back then, but I'm sure it would make me sick today.

My milk came straight from the teet growing up; my dad ran a cheese factory and the family farm was accross the road.  Out of school and into town, I switched to 2%.  Now milk straight from the cow tastes too rich.

I've been drinking skim milk for ages, but like others growing up in the 60s and 70s, I drank a lot of whole milk and 2%.

LMAO.  You DID make my day!

If I had my druthers, Idruther drink whole milk.  Unfortunately, my wife insists that we drink 1%.  To me, whole milk tastes like milk.  Anything else is just flavored water.  But then, I'm the kind of guy who will drink Carnation condensed milk from the can if the wife isn't looking.  ;)

I probably average 16ozs of whole milk a day.

Hmmmm so that explains it   J/k Bud  ;D

I enjoy 2%.  I used to drink whole when I was little but ended up getting major stomach issues and had to stop drinking whole milk.  I enjoy a glass of whole every once in awhile at a resturant.   I cant stand non-fat though... yuck!!!

Don't drink it. Can't stand it.

The smell, taste and texture of it make me do the chunky chuckle.

skim was always my preference, anything above tastes like heavy cream to me (my mom raised me on skim, she's a health nut!!)

...although now i only drink soy milk, my old lady doesn't drink milk...and well ive just gotten used to the taste of the soy over the years.. :-/

My family drinks 1% milk because of my daughters diet. She has to take a round of steriods once a month and tha keeps her a little puffy so we try to keep her weight in check and she loves milk. I prefer whole milk with ice in it.

Growing up it was only 2%.  Now me, the wife and kids have been drinking skim for several years.

2%. I only drink milk in the winter months, have no taste for it when the weather warms up.
