cigarleaf Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 I'm thinging of buying some of the falcon tackle organizers. The only one that seems to me not well designed is the spinnerbait organizer. It looks like from the pictures on Falcons website that it bends the top wire down and it could cause them damage in the long run. Does anyone use this organizer? What do you thing of this type of box? I'm use to plano spinnerBait box style. Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted June 16, 2008 Super User Posted June 16, 2008 I've had one for over 3 years , so far no damage to the spinner-baits. Quote
OcBassman63 Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 Great question I had the same one. Thanx for the reply Brat. I may just get one now. Quote
wagn Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 the spinnerbait box is great. It does bend the arm down slightly, but i've never had any damaged to any of my baits. And it's the only tackle box i've found that adequately holds spinnerbaits in place in an easy to access manner Quote
jivey Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 I have the spinnerbait/buzzbait box and love it. My next purchase is going to be a speedbag or something similar to hold my boxes. I'm leaning towards another falcon product just because I know they will fit well. I have an old bag that I'm using now that's falling apart. Anyone have any reccomendations? Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted June 16, 2008 Super User Posted June 16, 2008 I have a spinnerbait box and a spinnerbait/buzzbait box. I threw my other spinnerbait boxes away. This thing is great. Quote
cigarleaf Posted June 16, 2008 Author Posted June 16, 2008 Thanks guys for the info. I'm going to buy this one and a few more falcon boxes. Quote
hercdoc Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 I have a couple of the Falcon Boxes (spinnerbait and jig boxes). I was at Bass Pro a couple of weeks ago and pick up the BP double-sided topwater box. I don't care for it. The latches are too loose and fall down all the time. You have to hold them up with your fingers as you close the box or they hit on top of the latching part. Falcon is the way to go. Quote
Super User .ghoti. Posted June 17, 2008 Super User Posted June 17, 2008 The Falcon spinnerbait and terminal tackle boxes are the best thing since sliced bread. I had them since I first saw them, and they're holding up nicely. Everything stays right where you put it. I also have one of the spinnerbait/buzzbait boxes. Only had it for this year, but I'm betting it will hold up to my abuse as well as the others. The jig box is a different story. I got one of those, loaded it full of jigs, and when I pulled it out of the bag none of the jigs were in their slots. Every one had come loose and the whole thing was a mess. I have to add that the box was full of small jigs. 1/8oz, 3/16oz and 1/4oz are about all I use. Maybe the box would work better with larger jigs. Quote
