Pitchinkid Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Ok. Most of us have seen this movie. But how many have seen it on cable TV. You know how they clean up the language on movies. Well on this Cinematic masterpeice Samuel L Jackson has a line and i quote; "Im tired of these Mother F****** snakes on this Mother F****** plane," Well the fine folks at FX have cleaned up that garbage for us and gave us this gem. " Im tired of these Monkey Fighting snakes on this Monday Friday plane. It may not be funny to yall, but when i heard it i laughed until my sides hurt. Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted April 15, 2009 Super User Posted April 15, 2009 monkey fighting i can understand but MONDAY FRIDAY!?!? :-? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D i wish i saw this censored version! Quote
Super User Root beer Posted April 16, 2009 Super User Posted April 16, 2009 That movie is a true horror! I have a phobia of being on a plane full of snakes! Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted April 16, 2009 Super User Posted April 16, 2009 Wow. For some reason when I looked at the title of this thread, I said to myself, "This sounds like one of AJ's posts" Sure enough..... ;D Quote
Btech Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 The way they packed them just seems like it would lead to problems if you ask me. Quote
aarogb Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 I would have come up with something better than Monday Friday. Quote
nickb Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Man, that movie was horrible. I bet the censored version was even worse. I got up and left when I saw it. Quote
atx_newbie Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 You know I've never met one person who liked that movie, but I actually did. For one, I am a big fan of Sam, but mainly, it was just a fun, entertaining little film. Sure, it wasn't Hitchcock, but no one was pretending it was. It did for me exactly what I wanted from it: I laughed in parts, and I did jump a little in some parts. Quote
Tokyo Tony Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Haha, that's hilarious ;D Reminds me of watching Dumb & Dumber during the Shih tzu / bulldog breeding joke - "You know what we called it? A bull****!" In the censored version he goes, "You know what we called it?" Then they cut right to the laughing part. I thought that was hilarious, but I notice now that I'm typing this out, it doesn't seem hilarious at all in print Quote
Super User burleytog Posted April 17, 2009 Super User Posted April 17, 2009 Caught a bit of The Departed in the hotel last week on FX. Would have been better off not watching at all. Quote
