Bass_Fanatic Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 Here lately I have questioned why I buy different attrantants due to the less than satisfactory success. I have purchased YUM and Bang crawfish and shad spray and neither has really made a noticable difference. I was just wondering what you guys thought of this, is it worth the money or not? Have yall had success with this type stuff? Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted June 16, 2008 Super User Posted June 16, 2008 I use Bang Crawfish attractant. I do not use it as an attractant, more to hide or cover up any thing that could turn off or keep the fish from biting due to scents that you gather and transpose from the handling of the soft plastic lure. Super User Grey Wolf Posted June 16, 2008 Super User Posted June 16, 2008 Tried them. Don't use them anymore. JMHO. Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted June 16, 2008 Super User Posted June 16, 2008 I have used so many different attractants from powder based to oil. I have settled on two. Megastrike and JJ's Magic. Megastrike is a water based attractant that stays on for a long time. It's a pure attractant. JJ's Magic is a lure dye with a very strong garlic attractant. Both cause the bass to bite and hold on for a long time. Quote
Bobby Uhrig Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 Ya have to go with the amino acids- I wish you guys were at some of the shows we did demonstrations -with and without the Megastrike on baits- It is as good as it gets. If you dont like it -we buy it back -no questions asked. Quote
