preach4bass Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 My wife, Fran, and I found out that she is pregnant a couple of weeks (and several positive pregnancy tests) ago. We've been trying for a few years, and she had a miscarriage about a year ago, but we heard our baby's heartbeat for the first time yesterday! The due date is November 22nd, so he/she ought to be able to hold a rod by the spawn of 2010, right?! There isn't a smiley big enough to express my joy, so ol' faithful will have to do. Quote
frogtog Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Well let me be the first to congratulate you Preach. Way to go life will never be the same anymore. Quote

Fisher of Men Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Congrats, brother!! What a blessing it is to have a child! My wife and I went through two miscarriages before our daughter was born. Since she was born, my wife had to have a hystorectimy, so she is our one and only (unless we are able to adopt some day). I will remember you in our prayers over the following months. Hopefully, they have put your wife on progesterone and she's taking good pre-natal vitamins. That was the course of action (along with alot of prayer) for our daughter prior to birth. Keep us updated as to her condition!! God bless, Fisher Quote
