MissouriBassin Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 Cavitrons are the best buzzbaits made (in my opinion). Try em you'll see! Quote
Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted June 7, 2008 Super User Posted June 7, 2008 Cavitrons are the bomb! If you try a keyword search I am sure you will come up with a multitude of great reviews for it also. Quote
Super User Sam Posted June 7, 2008 Super User Posted June 7, 2008 You need to throw something the bass have not seen. The Cavitron fits this bill to a "T" so throw them. And you can fish them fast or slow. If you see bubbles behind the bait then the Ph of the water is just right for the Cavitron. I also caught some 6 pounders with the Cavitron. Lots of fun to see then inhale the lure and then come to the surface. Quote
EastTexasBassin Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 I love the cavitron! Very exciting action, the fish hate it with a passion. They attack with a fury! Quote

Bobby Uhrig Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Simon and Dave -believe me its cavitron time. Just go out -find the weeds preferably a good weedline -parallel them. Also find some wood mixed with that weed and you will find bass. If you have lillypads on your body of water-you can throw the Cavitron right through the pad- Just hold on . the most vicious strikes I have ever gotten on the cavitron has been pulling it through the lilly pads. This little kid across street acually he is 15 years old and 270 lbs- caught this 7lb 3 oz at a local pond on a white 3/8 cavitron -If he can do it so can you. Quote
BadKarma42 Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Bobby, Any consideration to a double bladed cavitoron? Quote
HookedinNY Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Caught 5 decent LM after dark with a black/black Cavitron on Saturday night, lots of fun. ;D Quote
Bobby Uhrig Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Fishy Fishy- To answer your question- What to do with them-Throw them all away -They dont work LOL Quote
daviscw Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 Just an update... I was one of the ones that had never had a bite on the Cavitron until today. I went out behind the house about 5:00pm throwing a 5" Senko. It started to pour rain so I figured I'd try the Cavitron once again. It was insane! I pulled a fish every other cast, none of which were dinks. It didn't matter where I threw that thing. It was a fun 10 minutes because after the rain stopped I couldn't buy a bite. But anyway, just thought I'd share. Quote
bigmountaineer Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 I haven't caught a lot of bass on any buzzbaits, until now I used the Cavitron Ghost Minnow with a Red Blade, a true winner. I wouldn't buy another color. I had vicious hits after hits until I lost the d**n thing. Worth the money and can't wait to do it again. Quote
wagn Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 my PB was caught on the 3/8 black on blackMy PB 7pounds 1oz, was caught on a 3/8 oz black cavitron as well. It's an absolutely great buzzbait Quote
Simp Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 I let my pops use mine and a few casts later he brought in a 5 1/2 lber as well ;D. Quote
