Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted March 30, 2009 Super User Posted March 30, 2009 : The part that bugs me is that they are not offering a fullscale adoption program such as the humane society does. They ought to be working hand in hand with organizations such as the humane society and others dedicated to rescue and adoption of animals. It seems they would rather spend their funds and donations on terrorist compains ,demonstrations, and phony fear mongering advertisments. Knew about this for a while. My mother used to support them and now doesn't for reasons similar to these. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted March 30, 2009 Super User Posted March 30, 2009 Nope, completely believable. Quote

Super User senile1 Posted March 30, 2009 Super User Posted March 30, 2009 Interesting. This should definitely hurt the PETA cause which is the silver lining. Quote
slomoe Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Penn & Teller did a great show about PETA when they had their series on Showtime. You can watch it on google video. They went over this and other things like how Mary Beth Sweetland, the VP of PETA is a Type A diabetic, whose medication to stay alive was developed from medical testing of dogs. ;D IDIOTS Quote
