Low_Budget_Hooker Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 These guys have their stuff together! 12 miles of sandbagging and then another leveee being built behind it. Shelters are opened and supplied,....they're just really on top of the situation, good to see for a change. Good luck out there guys! Fingers crossed for a slow melt. Quote
Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted March 29, 2009 Super User Posted March 29, 2009 It's good to see, some people have learned from previous natural disasters. As Russ said, good luck. Falcon Quote

Super User Long Mike Posted March 29, 2009 Super User Posted March 29, 2009 To their great good fortune, the people of Fargo didn't rely on FEMA. The only help they probably would have received is truck-loads of Ice and bottled water. Quote
-HAWK- Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 To their great good fortune, the people of Fargo didn't rely on FEMA. The only help they probably would have received is truck-loads of Ice and bottled water. How a City/Community deals with disaster says a lot about the people that make that City/Community. In Fargo they band together to help one another. In New Orleans they went looting, rioting, vandalizing, then went and waited for Fema to come save the day. Quote
