Being new the sport of bass fishing. I have been buying $20.00 worth of hard/soft baits a week. This week I picked up some Zooom Trick Worms and Zoom Chunks. Why I have not picked up Zoom Trick Worms before I have no idea but I love these thing weightless T-rigged. None of my Berkley powerbaits and Glup move like this thing. Pull it once and shoots straight up and fall vert. vibrating all the way down. Pull it again and it might go Horz and flutter. I was even walking the dog with this thing sub-surface. What a bait but many of you all ready know this. I can't wait to throw it on a shakey head.

I LOVE these things too...

I went to Lake Fork earlier this year and fished for three days.  Day one consist of spinnerbaits, crankbaits and tx rigged brush hogs and caught four fish.  Day two we tried a weightless trick worm and ended up with over 40 and 6 5+lbs...

A great bait!!

Watermelon/red is almost always my first choice, but white is also fun to fish because you can actually see the bait disappear when a fish hits.

If you really what an effective presentation of a Zoom Trick worm, try it this way. Yes, the watermelon with red flakes is popular in most part of the country. I fished Fork a few weeks ago for 6 days and only used the moccasin blue color. It produced just a well as the watermelon/red had in the past there.

Insert a nail weight in the head and insert the hook in the opposite direction of the rig Wayne posted and you get a mean fish catching machine.  :)

Raul, I agree that a nail inserted in the head is a good addition if needed for depths of 5'+, in current, or with wind. I still insert the hook in the same direction with or without the added weight though. I haven't found it to be necessary to do otherwise, good suggestion though-thanks

here's another trick for trick worms(works best with zoom)

Cut off 1/8 of an inch of the head of worm.get a white with black eyes crappie jig(1/8 oz) cut the bend hook part off and the eye of jig where you'd tie the line.Insert that jig into the head of trick worm only exposing the jig head. Now take a 3/0 offset worm hook and hook it in the middle and back through toward the head(about 3-4 inches from the head).Tex pose or bury hook just like you would T-rig a worm. And booya now you got a killer tricked out trick worm. 8-)

It's called the bungee jumper rig

I hooked up a watermelon w/ red flake this weekend and I was the only one in the boat catching anything. Everyone else was using nightcrawlers and picking on my fake bait till I started hauling in the fish then they were like what are you using. I just keep telling them fake bait.
