Completly random but...

where you guys live do you have the signs that say "Watch Children," not "Watch For Children," they actually say "Watch Children." Everytime I drive by one I always think they're so awkward, like its encouraging pedophiles or something lol. Its just one of my pet peaves that I have, I mean, seriously, does it cost that much extra to paint that little word "For" on there? Does that bug anybody else?

LMAO! ENCOURAGING PEDOPHILES!!!!!

that's really funny!

i've never seen a Watch Children sign, all the ones around here either say "Slow            Children at Play" or "Watch for Children"

i was watching demetri martin stand up, and he commented on the "watch for children" signs, and he said it was a good trade.  i always thought that was funny.  If you get it...

What gets me is how much money they waste on signs. Especially the ones that read ( Bridges May Ice Before Road) ( Begin Speed Zone, 45 MPH Ahead, 45 MPH all in a row. ( No Diving From Bridge) and the best one ( Watch For Low Flying Planes ) ;D

Dave, you have to watch the stand up, IMO it is way better than the show.

I would think it was an occupied parent trying to get strangers to watch his/her child while they abused meth or something. Idk. I once saw a sign that said Autistic Child Area. Talk about singling someone out.

I always liked the signs here that say "Do not pass". Cause apparently the solid yellow lines on the road don't say that and if I was ignoring those, the extra sign will make me think twice.

That and in the mountains "Falling Rock". There is one sign in particular where that rock has been falling for more than 10 years. I know they want folks to be safe but there is a sheer cliff face. If a rock fell off it, there is no way I would ever see it coming, even if it was colored hot pink and screaming like a little girl all the way down.

I also do not get the point of "Speed checked by RADAR", or "Speed checked by aircraft", or any variant thereof. I mean, are you going to suddenly decide not to speed because these guys got that new fangled RADAR stuff? If you are speeding, you know that police are out there, you know they likely have some type of device to measure your speed and you don't just have 2 of them on the side of the road going "So...how fast you reckon that one was going?".

I knew a guy in hish-school who stole a Deaf Child Area sign.  After word got out, and all the girls knew, he got no play for months.
