Super User .dsaavedra. Posted March 23, 2009 Super User Posted March 23, 2009 anybody? i'm not really sure if i do or not. i know there are some of their songs that i DEFINITLEY don't like, like the rap-type songs, but some others i'm not really sure if i like them or not. Quote
Captain Obvious Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 I don't know who Korn is? But if they sing Rap songs then NO I do not like them Quote
Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted March 23, 2009 Super User Posted March 23, 2009 I voted yes for the simple fact that the first album was killer.A very different sound compared to most bands. But as time went on all their stuff seems to sound the same. And I absolutely can't stand anything with that rap fusion s**t. frogtog Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Dam I thought you were talking about Korn on the cobb. : Quote
FishingPirate Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Freak on a Leash was an awesome song, especially when the dude wrestles with an alabaster dwarf(<urban dictionary it) in the middle of the song. The album with Twisted Transistor is ho hum. I dont listen to it enough to remember what its called though Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted March 23, 2009 Super User Posted March 23, 2009 Here we go again. Another meaningless poll. : Quote
Super User Sam Posted March 23, 2009 Super User Posted March 23, 2009 I only like Korn when it is on the cobb. Quote
Super User Gone_Phishin Posted March 23, 2009 Super User Posted March 23, 2009 Nope, garbage. But then again, I can't stand any of the newer hard rock crap. Quote
bass wrangler569 Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 I'm with fourbizz. Korn is definately on the list of bands I absolutely hate for example (bands I hate): avenged sevenfold (pansy metal, I hate scene kids) bullet for my valentine (pansy metal, I hate scene kids, if you don't what a scene kid is google image it) disturbed (I hate the people who think they are hard@$$ because they listen to disturbed when in reality disturbed is closer to hard rock than metal and is in no way heavy or hard@$$) slipknot (same as disturbed except slipknot is at least metal, however, they have some singing, which is not tolerable) korn (just good old fashion terrible) Cannibal Corpse (I can't respect a band that doesn't take themselves seriously, google their song titles and you'll see what I mean, also, 90s grindcore sucks) ANY RAP MUSIC Sorry in advance fourbizz, I know you're a slipknot fan but its not my kind of metal, although I do respect slipknot as music, which is more than I can say for korn. MitchIsFishin Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Love corn, peas, spinach, squash, virtually any vegetable. Good and good for ya! Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted March 23, 2009 Super User Posted March 23, 2009 wrangler, you and I think very very similar I love Slipknot's self titled and IOWA was ok, but ever since Corey Taylor decided slipknot would be better as Stone Sour 2.0 Ive just lost the love. Self titled wasan awesome metal album in my opinion. But their new stuff makes me want to kick puppies. Quote
Red Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 i always thought their bass player was pretty decent(he is no les claypool however), but did not like them too much. Quote
paragon Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 I agree with Bassin Fan@tic. That first album was really something. I have seen them in concert twice. Once way back then and then years later. They were great 15 years ago. Now not so much. Quote
Ky_Lake_Dude Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Coming Undone is the only Korn song that is worth listening to for me Quote

I'm not a huge fan of slipknots old stuff but they did have some stuff I liked and it was definitely real metal. I can't stand their new stuff, the only redeeming quality about their last CD is that they're guitarists do some awesome shredding but other than that its worthless IMO. Quote
nickb Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Here we go again. Another meaningless poll. : Agreed. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted March 25, 2009 Super User Posted March 25, 2009 Its very important to thoroughly chew your corn. Quote
