Still a Bigbuckifan Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 Coach Carter ''Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. '' Quote

Eddie Munster Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Great exchanges in Young Frankenstein. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XaPZZJVDx6Y Meeting Igor Igor: Dr. Frankenstein... Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: "Fronkensteen." Igor: You're putting me on. Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: No, it's pronounced "Fronkensteen." Igor: Do you also say "Froaderick"? Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: No... Frederick." Igor: Well, why isn't it "Froaderick Fronkensteen"? Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: It isn't; it's "Frederick Fronkensteen." Igor: I see. Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: You must be Igor. [He pronounces it ee-gor] Igor: No, it's pronounced "eye-gor." Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: But they told me it was "ee-gor." Igor: Well, they were wrong then, weren't they? Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: For the experiment to be a success, all of the body parts must be enlarged. Inga: His veins, his feet, his hands, his organs vould all have to be increased in size. Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Exactly. Inga: He vould have an enormous schwanzstucker. Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: That goes without saying. Inga: Voof. Igor: He's going to be very popular. Office Space: Michael Bolton: Yeah, well at least your name isn't Michael Bolton. Samir: You know there's nothing wrong with that name. Michael Bolton: There was nothing wrong with it... until I was about 12 years old and that no-talent butt clown became famous and started winning Grammys. Samir: Hmm... well why don't you just go by Mike instead of Michael? Michael Bolton: No way. Why should I change? He's the one who sucks. Sin City: Marv: I'll stare the bastige in the face as he screams to God, and I'll laugh harder when he whimpers like a baby. And when his eyes go dead, the hell I send him to will seem like heaven after what I've done to him. Quote

SMSRTC Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 I thought "I'm your huckleberry" was a great line also. I have no idea what it means, but it was just a great delivery. Buckaroo Bonzai: No matter where you go, there you are. John Candy in Canadian Bacon: There's a time to think, and a time to act. And this, gentlemen, is no time to think. Super User Bassn Blvd Posted March 1, 2009 Super User Posted March 1, 2009 I thought "I'm your huckleberry" was a great line also. I have no idea what it means, but it was just a great delivery. "I'm your huckleberry" is a term used to let someone know you wanted to dance with them. By Doc Holiday telling Ringo he was his huckleberry was his way of saying "let's dance" or "let's get it on."
