Taurus .410 Revolver

I never knew one existed.  Does it shoot a standard .410 shotshell or does it use a .410 caliber cartridge?  Either way, I'd hate to meet one in someone's dark home some night.

The Judge will soon be my next buy for me  they have released the 3 inch chamber one now and sweet they are, Buckshot can spread about a foot to 1.5 feet apart. .45 colt shoots 3-4 inch groups at 50 feet, so reasonably accurate for short barreled gun. so for protection it will be a serious gun with three 000 3inch 410 shots in the chamber and backed up by 2 45 L-colt right behind  

That "little .410" round in OOO Buckshot (3 balls) is roughly equivalent to Three rounds of 9mm - simultaneously delivered, there's no doubt that three .360 caliber balls delivered simultaneously packs a serious hurt  

serious home/personal protector, you won't want to touch a Charter Bulldog 44 after the Judge

There's a guy who occasionally uses one to shoot skeet at the club where I shoot sporting clays. He actually grinds clays up pretty good with it. Another guy I know gave his girlfriend one that she uses for home defense. I don't know if they're exactly the ideal home defense gun but either way I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end.

My neighbor has one of the 2 1/2" models. Personally, I'd prefer the 3" model. These weapons are absolutely devastating . My ccw weapon is a S&W model 629, 4" barrel .44 mag. with Bianchi shoulder holster 8-).     Happy fishing.

Wow, cool piece. I never heard of one. I wonder if its made by any other man's. I wouldn't want a Taurus but it would be great in a Ruger or S&W. I got to have one. It would be nice while hunting mushrooms in the spring against those nasty Copperheads. Thanks for the info.

Too bad you need a permit to purchase :'(. That's one of the things I like about Arizona ;D. You don't even need a permit here to carry openly. You do need a permit to carry concealed. I have one 8-).

Justfishin', Taurus is the only manufacturer of this weapon. It it extremely well made .

Very popular around here.  I was almost talked into buying one at academy as a piece to carry with me fishing.  Very versatile little gun....snakes and bad guys beware!

Most states DO NOT need a permit to "open carry"---The public just never reads their own Constitutions. Check your State Laws--Most allow open carry as the Constitution requires--If not MOVE FAST.

UPDATE!!

I went ahead and purchased this revolver (the Taurus 4410), with a 3'' barrel, blue finish. Being a relatively new firearm, i was surprised to get mine in (slightly) used condition at a local gun shop. After it was all said and done, it came out around $375. (The blue finish is cheaper  )

Haven't had the chance to take it out and see what she can do yet, but hopefully i will do some shooting after work tomorrow or the next day. I'll be sure to keep you guys posted on my results/opinion on this gun.
