Bass Dude Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Is anyone else excited to see him back this week?? I can't wait to see him play again. Quote
daviscw Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I'm excited that the countdown clock on ESPN will be gone. I am interested to see how he does, but I won't watch him do it. If that makes sense? Quote
Bass Dude Posted February 24, 2009 Author Posted February 24, 2009 Oddly enough, it does make sense!! Quote
Pitchinkid Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 TIGER TIGER WOODS yall. The most dominating athlete since MJ. Glad he is around in my generation. I couldnt bare to watch golf without him. Quote
Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted February 24, 2009 Super User Posted February 24, 2009 I'm pumped. Quote
atx_newbie Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I'm excited too. I had the same surgery (ACL reconstruction) back in November, so I'll be interested to see how his golf game, especially his power, returns. Granted, I'm not at that level, but I was playing to about a 5 or 6 handicap and would like to return to that form. So I'll be interested to see the full effects of his surgery. Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted February 25, 2009 Super User Posted February 25, 2009 TIGER TIGER WOODS yall. The most dominating athlete since MJ.. Funny, I never considered Michael Jackson much of an athlete. You must watch different sports than I do. ;D ;D ;D Quote

Super User SirSnookalot Posted February 25, 2009 Super User Posted February 25, 2009 I am a golfer (played competively in high school and college) and I'm real excited. I do think he is the most dominate golfer of all time and will go down as the greatest. He brings an excitement to the tour that even Nicklaus didn't do, even non golfers watch and root for him. Wonder if he fishes, he has the fantastic home on Hobe Sound and the spanish macks and blues have been hitting there.....lol. Quote
deadeye32. Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 I would bet he makes the cut. ;D Sorry KVD Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted February 25, 2009 Super User Posted February 25, 2009 It's match play, win or you're gone. Tiger is playing Brenden Jones from Australia. He would not be 64 in the world if he played the pga tour or european tour. That said Tiger has lost to Australians in match play before. I'm sure his game is ready the question is "ring rust" (being away from competition). If he did not think he could win, he wouldn't be playing. I pick him to get to at least the quarter finals. Quote
Tokyo Tony Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 He'll win. Can't wait to watch it. It seems like he has the mental power to will the ball in the hole when he needs to. Unbelievable. Quote
