Super User burleytog Posted February 21, 2009 Super User Posted February 21, 2009 That sorry wretched Beast left three boxes of Thin Mints on my porch this morning. Just cracked open the first bag. After eating the local Walmart's stock of Edy's Thin Mint ice cream over the last month, these are a welcome addition to the snack bag. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted February 21, 2009 Author Super User Posted February 21, 2009 And the first package is gone. I remember there being more cookies in a box back when my sister sold these things. Quote

Super User Gone_Phishin Posted February 21, 2009 Super User Posted February 21, 2009 I don't get it. I honestly think Girl Scout cookies suck. They're waxy, and have that mass-produced taste to them. No thanks, ya'll can keep them. Quote

fish-fighting-illini Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 I'm in the minority on this. I hate mint cookies and mint ice cream. I love most mints but not cookies and ice cream. Now peanut butter patties, shortbreads and lemons those are a different story! Quote
Super User Dan: Posted February 22, 2009 Super User Posted February 22, 2009 I hate the combination of mint and chocolate also. Cookies, ice cream, anything. I think it is just terrible. My favorite girl scout cookies are Samoans and Tag Alongs. Quote
FordNFishinLover Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Hahaha, burley i find it funny that it only too you 19 minutes to eat a box. Your first post was at 8:11 and the one that said you ate a box was at 8:30 Btw beast, i wore that same shirt today! Were like twins! (cept im prettier than him!!) Quote
Super User burleytog Posted February 22, 2009 Author Super User Posted February 22, 2009 One box down, the rest have been placed in the deep freeze to protect my gut. Quote

Pitchinkid Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Ive never met a cookie i didn't like. We also put our surplus in the freezer. 2 things the PitchinKid house will always have in it. Coors Lite and girl scout cookies. A Lot of canned deer too. I'm pretty partial to the lemon ones, i'm not sure what they are called. They are all delicious Quote

Olebiker Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 I hate the combination of mint and chocolate also. Cookies, ice cream, anything. I think it is just terrible. I agree. Chocolate and mint together? That's girl food. Men don't eat that. Just give me a box of Trefoils and a bowl of vanilla ice cream and this old fat boy is a happy camper. Quote
Super User Muddy Posted February 23, 2009 Super User Posted February 23, 2009 GSC Thin Mints crushed over a bowl of quality ice cream, can't beat it 8-) Quote
