Bass Dude Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 Im guessin you want punched in the face for all that braggin your doin. ;D ;D ;D That is hilarious!!!! Although it's been a balmy 30 degrees here lately, we have at least two months until soft water. I am green with ***!!! Quote
Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted February 13, 2009 Super User Posted February 13, 2009 Last week we had fairly mild weather, however we're back to normal temps now. I figure I have at least 4-6 weeks before I'll be fishing in my canal, and another 2-3 weeks after that before I get my boat in the water. It sure would be nice to see some flowers popping up around here. Falcon Quote
Fisher of Men Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 Yep, forget about the calender. Here in the Mid South our early spring flowers popped yesterday and 100% more have bloomed today. We will be in full bloom by Monday! ;D ;D ;D ;D I want to see pictures. ;D We've had some spring weeds coming up around here, but no flowers. You guys must be having a heat wave up your way. I'm sure they'll be frostbitten soon. We're due one more cold snap or two around here. Quote
Super User FishTank Posted February 14, 2009 Super User Posted February 14, 2009 We will be in full bloom by Monday! Yes but if the weather is like it is here in Indiana, they will be dead by Tuesday..... :D Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted February 14, 2009 Super User Posted February 14, 2009 RW I live at about the same latitude as you. The trees are trying to bud, but we will have a cold snap this weekend that is guaranteed to make those little buds suck way back into their "scrotum." Quote
Super User Sam Posted February 14, 2009 Super User Posted February 14, 2009 When the Dogwoods blossom the bass start to move onto their nests. Then Spring has Sprung in central Virginia. Quote

=Matt 5.0= Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Two more months til the Forsythia blooms. Buds on the trees = Bass in the boat. Quote
Super User firefightn15 Posted February 14, 2009 Super User Posted February 14, 2009 RW said it because he could mean it, that's what really sucks. We have had a super thaw in central Wisconsin, lost alot of our snow, but still plenty of ice. Temps in the 20-30s, a nice break from real winter. Glad someone is enjoying spring though. Quote
