rippin_lips Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 I know most people on this forum do not listen to rap or hip hop music, but I am still going to make a thread about Lil Wayne. He is going to release a rock album in April and has had 2 songs leak from it already. I think wayne is one of the most creative artist alive. He can do whatever he likes.
CFFF 1.5 Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 Wow, that was terrible, I think it is time lil' wayne gives up the d**n voice changing machine he uses on every song. It is really annoying now.
Super User Muddy Posted February 8, 2009 Super User Posted February 8, 2009 Gotta be careful about a negative music review, might hurt someones fellings now
RobbyZ5001 Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 I like Lil Wayne...I like his flow. Does anyone know the FIRST song lil wayne was in? Might surprise you!
Super User Muddy Posted February 8, 2009 Super User Posted February 8, 2009 1st Juvenile release for Cash Money in New Orleans?
fivesixone Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 This is seriously bad. And I even like some of Lil Wayne's stuff. Hot Boys is good stuff and I like the track he's on on the new Scarface album. I've had Slick Rick playin' in my car for like the past 3 months.
Super User Maxximus Redneckus Posted February 8, 2009 Super User Posted February 8, 2009 rap and hip hop aint music! music requires 3 cords rap and hip hop only have 2 cords
BASS fisherman Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 rap and hip hop aint music! music requires 3 cords rap and hip hop only have 2 cords When a guy is making millions of dollars on record sales each year, he can call it whatever he wants. 8-)
daviscw Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 I like several of his songs. He really is one of the most creative artists I've ever heard.
I.rar Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 oh god. do not even get me started on this horrible rapper. he is not the greatest rapper alive by a long shot. his voice is very annoying. he shot him self in the leg. when confronted about some beef he stirred up , he backed down and denied the whole thing. i dont know why he thinks he sounds so great on every song he does. i dont know why people put him on songs when he sounds like that. gorilla zoe took him off the album version of 'lost' , probably because he is annoying. he kissed BG. i can go on... while he does come out with alot of music , 90% of it is trash. and the autotoned voice is way overplayed. i liked him pre-carter 3. i dont mean to hurt anyone feelings , but this is IMO. i just dont like him. at all.

Super User Tin Posted February 8, 2009 Super User Posted February 8, 2009 WOW, you hit the nail on the head with what hip-hop is... I'm currently listening to "Changes" by Tupac while calling my mother horrible names, have my pants pulled down below my butt, a four-four in my Roca-Wear sweats, the straps on my Aer Forces are not strapped, and my crunk cup is filled with Hennessy.
Super User Muddy Posted February 8, 2009 Super User Posted February 8, 2009 Where is all the uproar about other negative reviews/ Cased Closed. :-/

SuskyDude Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 rap and hip hop aint music! music requires 3 cords rap and hip hop only have 2 cords :-? While I agree that hip hop is not music by definition, what you said makes absolutely no sense.
Super User Hookemdown. Posted February 8, 2009 Super User Posted February 8, 2009 For some reason I started rapping the "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" theme song halfway through the thread. ;D House of Pain is were it's at.
slomoe Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 All I really listen to is hip hop, but Lil wayne went down hill after cash money. Plus I don't really think two men should be kissing on the lips regardless of their relationship ;D
Branuss04 Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 Where is all the uproar about other negative reviews/ Cased Closed. :-/ :-? :-X I guess it's only you!!

daviscw Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 Where is all the uproar about other negative reviews/ Cased Closed. :-/ You aren't going to drop this are you? Jeez, I feel like I am in middle school again. It's probably because you haven't challenged ones experience or education yet, or you haven't called them a name. That's where the other thread went bad. I don't think anyone is fussing over negative reviews. It's when someone makes it personal that things get screwy. Have a great day Muddy!
Eddie Munster Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 Greatest rapper today? Joaquin Phoenix is DA BOMB! http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/02/04/entertainment/main4775636.shtml?source=RSSattr=Entertainment_4775636 Yet another case of a person in Hollywood losing their mind. Hurt feelings or not, Hip Hop/Rap is just static to me.
Ky_Lake_Dude Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 Lil Wayne is my favorite rapper. Him goin into rock music I don't think is the best idea though. I think he would be awesome if he got into more R&B like someone like T-pain's type of music
slomoe Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 like T-pain's type of music Like this ;D T pain, kanye, akon and anyone else bankin off that electronic voice cr@p needs to start getting a little more creative.
