Super User Muddy Posted February 7, 2009 Super User Posted February 7, 2009 Hey UncelLeo: Did you ever get the chance to go to Rosie's , on the South Side? I believe it's called LEGENDS now and Buddy Guy owns it. Quote
Uncle Leo Posted February 7, 2009 Author Posted February 7, 2009 Heard of it. I grew up on the South Side certain areas were left for other folks.I was more of a rocker. That was worst.Funny how you miss out. Quote
Super User Muddy Posted February 7, 2009 Super User Posted February 7, 2009 I was there many moons ago and my ROSIES tee shirt was decommissioned as a rag by Elaine. I am looking for a replacement, they seem to be rarer than frog hair :-/ Quote
Uncle Leo Posted February 7, 2009 Author Posted February 7, 2009 I'll snoop around everything old gets whiskers, even frogs. You never know. Does it have to be Rosies or will a Legends do? Elaine probably decomissioned due to poor fit up. My wife tends to do tahat even though I swear cotton expands. Quote
Super User Muddy Posted February 7, 2009 Super User Posted February 7, 2009 No just ROSIES. Actually she has an issue with holes in tee shirts, she says" You are not a kid anymore" She has no concept of finally breaking a good tee in! I now have no tee *** with holes in them as she uses them to clean mirrors :-[ Quote
Uncle Leo Posted February 7, 2009 Author Posted February 7, 2009 Yeah I know what you mean, just when the Jockeys are broken in I find new ones in the drawer. I learned to hide the broken in ones. Something about broken Jockeys and 12 hours on the water, it just goes together like cold and beer. Quote
bassdocktor Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Leo some of the rivers are open. Atleast in a few spot. Owell guess I'll have to wash the car instead. Muddy, haven't been the but taking the train everyday more or less right past Buddy Guy's place. I think I see the back of it. However, I did see him at the Blues or Jazz festival. Quote
Super User Muddy Posted February 8, 2009 Super User Posted February 8, 2009 Seeing Buddy Guy at all is cool! 8-) Quote
