Super User 5bass Posted January 27, 2009 Super User Posted January 27, 2009 I gotta go with my boy BJP. GSP taps in 2nd round.... Quote
thetr20one Posted January 27, 2009 Author Posted January 27, 2009 I know it would suck to get your a-- kicked by a French Canadian. With that being said it will still be a GSP victory. 2nd round TKO. I don't know about the GSP - Fedor comparison they are two very different type fighters. Here is a name to watch out for at 170. Ryan "The Lion" Madigan. He is a friend of mine and was supposed to be on the 170 TUF but, he blew out his knee and had to have surgery. He throw kicks faster than most can throw their fists. He is a beast. He fights at UFC 96 in Columbus, Ohio VS Ben Saunders. I will be surprised if that fight goes past two minutes. Here is his highlight reel. Yes that is Melvin Gulliard getting beat up at around 4:15 in. Quote
Pitchinkid Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 lol worse French Canadian lol j/k GSP Can absolutley beat BJ, But not in 20 seconds. Its not GSP game. Hes not as heavy handed as Penn, and Penn has an awesome Jaw. I think GSP will win. I dont think Penn is mentally prepaired for this fight.I saw where he was taking a vacation during training. This might work against Joe Stevenson but not GSP. GSP in Round 3 ref stoppage. Ha. 1 round off.Penn looked like mud. Machida looked better than ive ever seen him.Very impressive. Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted February 2, 2009 Super User Posted February 2, 2009 I stand humbled. GSP is just plain sick. BJ didnt look good at all. I think Thiago Alves v. GSP will be an amazing fight. That kid is a beast too. I think if Lyoto Machida fights Rashad Evans, it will be the first (and probably only) time I will cheer for Evans. Quote
Pitchinkid Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Machida is hard to cheer for.I never really thought he looked good in any of his previous UFC fights, but he looked awesome saturday.BJ needs to stay at 155 and domintate. Quote
