Super User roadwarrior Posted January 30, 2009 Super User Posted January 30, 2009 There are four BIG days in my year: Christmas, 4th of July, my birthday and the Super Bowl, in reverse order. Pizza Crab Dip with tortillas, deviled eggs, Heavenly Stars, Pinwheels, wings, Italian Bruschetta and "Some Like It Hot" shrimp for appetizers. The main course is baby back ribs, cole slaw, beans, potato salad and garlic bread. Probably start with beer for pre-game...10:00 - 5:00, then maybe Dewar's at game time. Coppola wine at halftime with dinner. Later, a shot or two of brandy. For desert, Key Lime pie. 8-) Quote
Super User Muddy Posted January 30, 2009 Super User Posted January 30, 2009 Man your guests are gonna eat good, Those ribs you make are the best I ever tasted 8-) Quote

Might have a shot or two of some brandy, too. Later, Key Lime pie. 8-) (Madden voice on) Now here's a guy that knows how to do Super Bowl sunday! That menu is like, BOOM! You know what could make it better though? Brett Favre! (Madden voice off) Quote

Daniel My Brother Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Going to a big pot luck at a buddy's house. Who knows what food will be there. Chilli, wings, and nachos are a pretty safe bet...and plenty of of ice cold beer. If it's like last year I'll eat, drink, lose a bunch of money, and accidentally set a cat on fire (the fluffy ones are really flamable). Quote

Super User Sam Posted January 30, 2009 Super User Posted January 30, 2009 A salwtawer fish prepared Courtbullion (cube-be-on). Cajun dish my grandmother always made. Can't get redfish at local fishmarkets in Richmond so will probably go with bluefish, Maui-Maui, grouper or other saltwater fish. Quote
