Super User eyedabassman Posted January 23, 2009 Super User Posted January 23, 2009 I think the Steelers will win but, I would like to see the Cards pull it off! Quote
GLADES Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 I think in tampa the Cards will win. The steelers are not as tough on the road. How can a 9-7 team win the Super Bowl? Quote
Super User Muddy Posted January 23, 2009 Super User Posted January 23, 2009 The team with the most points Quote
jack1 Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 I really don't care, but since I have to choose...gonna have to go with the Steelers. Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted January 23, 2009 Super User Posted January 23, 2009 The team with the most points Wait a second... remember the 2000 election? ;D Quote
bass or bass ? Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 I'm a lifelong Steelers fan,but living in Arizona I'm rooting for the Cardinals. And hookemdown, sure I remember the 2000 election. The team with the most points won. Happy fishing. ~B.A.S.S.~N.A.F.C.~BoatU.S.~ Quote

Super User fourbizz Posted January 25, 2009 Super User Posted January 25, 2009 This is football right? ;D Quote
atx_newbie Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 I gotta go with the Cards. It hurts me to do it, because I'm a defensive homer, but I've counted them out for three straight weeks and been proven wrong for three straight weeks. So I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt. Quote
Ky_Lake_Dude Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 The Steelers are my favorite team and i would love to see them win. But in all 3 rounds of the playoffs i picked the Cards to get beaten pretty handily. so I'm not pickin against them anymore. Cardinals-27 Steelers-17 Quote

atx_newbie Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Steelers 42 - Cards 21 Heard it here first, folks. You know, the Steelers may well win this game, but do you really think they'll put up 42 on a Cardinals team that has shut down much better offenses than the Steelers? If the Steelers win this game, it'll be because they keep it low scoring. They don't have the offense to get into a shootout with Warner and Fitzgerald. The key to the game for the Steelers will be to keep the ball for long, 7 or 8 minute scoring drives, keeping Warner on the sidelines. Because not even the Steelers can contain Fitz and Bouldin. At least I hope so, because my fantasy team is stacked with Cardinals... Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted January 25, 2009 Super User Posted January 25, 2009 I voted for another Cinderella story. The Cardinals have a much better chance winning this year than the Giants had against the Patriots! Cards 27 Steelers 13 8-) Quote
fivesixone Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Troy Polamalu is gonna tear them birds apart. Mark my words. Turnovers will win it, and I could definitely see the Steelers blowing this game outta proportion. Quote
Popperhead66 Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Love to see the cards win it but I think the steelers will win it by a touchdown. Quote
christopherjake Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 I'm rooting for the Cardinals because I'm a Kurt Warner fan, although I think the Steelers are going to win it. I'm hoping Kurt will play a mistake free game and pull out a close upset. Quote

Super User Matt Fly Posted January 27, 2009 Super User Posted January 27, 2009 If I was a gambling, Steelers would have my money. I'm hoping the Cards win this one 37-31. Quote
Super User eyedabassman Posted January 27, 2009 Author Super User Posted January 27, 2009 I would like the score to end with 7 and 7. PLEASE! Quote
rippin_lips Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 The cards are hot... and Fitzgerald is a beast. I can see the Steelers slowing them down enough to make it a good game, but I think the Cards will win it. Quote
bass or bass ? Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Ever since the final game of the regular season the Cardinals have rolled over everyone that has gotten in their way . The Steelers may win, but they should definately have their hands full for 4 quarters . Happy fishing. ~B.A.S.S.~N.A.F.C.~BoatU.S.~ Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted January 28, 2009 BassResource.com Administrator Posted January 28, 2009 "Big Ben" will have another lousy Superbowl performance. I just hope this time the refs won't be there to bail him out. Warner's a proven Superbowl star. He'll lead the Cards to their first Superbowl victory! Quote
Super User eyedabassman Posted January 29, 2009 Author Super User Posted January 29, 2009 Looks like the Steelers are pulling away! Quote
