I guess it's just like any topwater frog but with a blade on it. I never tried it but it looks like

it should work due to additonal stir the blade makes. I might just get one or........!!!!!

No, thanks I'll stick with my SPRO Bronzeye frogs. I think those fur legs and the extra little spinner on it will make the lure more snaggy and harder to bring over and through cover.

I agree...I think that the point is to have a slop bait that doesnt catch the slop. Open water w/ submerged weeds, I think this may be a decent bait. I have used hare strips while tying flies and they do have AWESOME action.

What "real fish" have you ever seen with a prop on it's tail?

The point is, you just have to try different things and it might work!

a seller tried to get me to buy one of those at the Maryland Fishing Expo last weekend. I told him I didn't really throw frogs too much, which is true, but I also declined because it was really expensive and I thought the spinning blade would get tangled. Who knows though, it could work...

Now, while I have already said that I don't like the overall design for what MOST people use frogs for (lots of weeds, muck, crawling over laydowns and stumps), Speedbead is right about it having potential as an open water bait or over submerged grasses. But then again the SPRO BronzEye is just as good in open water or over the same submerged grasses. I like a "chugging" or "popping" retrieve for my BronzEyes. Sometimes I will use a "walk the dog" retrieve, but I am not very good at walkin' the dog with the BronzEye yet...some days I got it..others I don't.  ;)

Its definitely interesting but seems a little over the top for my taste, a regular frog can get the job done fine id think, even though i spend like a mad man on many lures, im trying to stay away from the higher priced ones as much as possible, i think i saw these going for 9 bucks which ill definitely pass
