-nick- Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Has to be the greatest movie I've ever seen in my life! Has anyone else seen it yet? Quote
Super User firefightn15 Posted January 11, 2009 Super User Posted January 11, 2009 Looks good. Plan on going tonite. Don't normally do movies, but as soon as I saw the trailers, I figured I needed to go. Quote
Super User Micro Posted January 11, 2009 Super User Posted January 11, 2009 It's getting fantastic reviews. Quote
Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted January 11, 2009 Super User Posted January 11, 2009 I don't normally go to the show, but when a Clint Eastwood movie comes out, I head to the theater. Falcon Quote
Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted January 11, 2009 Super User Posted January 11, 2009 Seeing it tonight or tomorrow night for sure Quote

Super User Jimzee Posted January 11, 2009 Super User Posted January 11, 2009 I saw it a couple weeks ago, worth a watch for sure. Eastwood is his usual tough guy self. He more than makes up for the poor acting from the rest of the characters. Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted January 11, 2009 Super User Posted January 11, 2009 I am NOT an Eastwood fan, but I love his character in this movie. Quote
Dean Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I saw it yesterday with a buddy, freakin awesome movie! Quote
Jason Schwartz Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 That movie was awesome it was the best movie ive seen Quote
Super User firefightn15 Posted January 12, 2009 Super User Posted January 12, 2009 Just got back. Love it when they are trying to coach the hmong kid how to interact at the barbershop. Great movie. Quote
IMPY03 Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I don't understand hows this movies is getting such good reviews...Eastwood did a good acting job but besides that, I thought it was a little dry and drawn out. Quote
RobbyZ5001 Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I saw this movie a month before it came out in theaters. Quote
Super User Tin Posted January 12, 2009 Super User Posted January 12, 2009 Going to see it at 7. Quote
Dean Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I saw this movie a month before it came out in theaters. ....bootlegs are AWESOME! Quote
Super User Tin Posted January 13, 2009 Super User Posted January 13, 2009 Wow, very disappointed. Not worth the $10.50 in my book. Eastwood was great, but that was most likely because everyone around him was so bad. Quote
Super User firefightn15 Posted January 13, 2009 Super User Posted January 13, 2009 Come on, what about the barber? The barber shop scenes were a hoot. Quote
warmer Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I don't understand hows this movies is getting such good reviews...Eastwood did a good acting job but besides that, I thought it was a little dry and drawn out. lets see... here you have a story that reveals the transformations power of persistent and sacrificial love without being trite or short-cutting the process. you have powerful acting from a whole cast of characters. you have conflict of cultures and identities, which finds plausible resolution. you have a great window into a microcosm of the changing american identity. you have a subculture trying to define (and re-define) itself within that american experience. oh, i dont know... i guess your right... i should have popped in superbad and rolled tape. I dont know about you but I hear enough about that stuff on a daily basis. By far not what I expected from Clint Eastwood, good thing I didn't pay to watch it. Just my take on it.... Quote
warmer Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 unless you like watching something about morals, values, and diversity in a community. it wasnt long ago that people would have said, "morals, values or diversity in the community." if hearing this stuff on a daily basis is a part of that transition... ROLL TAPE! Quote
Super User burleytog Posted January 13, 2009 Super User Posted January 13, 2009 Eastwood was great, but that was most likely because everyone around him was so bad. That describes every film Eastwood has ever done. Hell, I don't think he's much of an actor myself. I love Heartbreak Ridge, but Eastwood was about as good in that as a mime on the street. Quote
Super User bilgerat Posted January 14, 2009 Super User Posted January 14, 2009 Eastwood was great, but that was most likely because everyone around him was so bad You gotta be kidding, right !? You've never seen Outlaw Josey Wales or Unforgiven ? Two of the greatest westerns, period. Quote
