Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted January 14, 2009 Super User Posted January 14, 2009 We got 8" of snow Saturday, 2" yesterday, and it's snowing now, expecting 1-3 more inches. The temps were -5 last night, and it's only 4 right now. Overnight lows are supposed to go below zero until Sunday night when it will be a whopping 8*. Global warming at it's finest. IS IT SPRING YET????????????? Falcon Quote
Brute Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I am going hunting this weekend in north Florida and they are predicting 15 deg. > I keep telling myself it will be fun. :-/ Brute Quote
Fisher of Men Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Good thing it's moving east. Our lows are only supposed to be in the lower 20's Friday morning. High's are to rebound to normal temps. (mid 50's by Saturday afternoon). I'm still sure we'll get ours before spring, though. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted January 14, 2009 BassResource.com Administrator Posted January 14, 2009 It will be about 10 degrees above average in the northwest (about 55 degrees). But it was just a few weeks ago we single-digit temps, followed by record rainfall and warm temps. 2-3' of snow and ice followed by major flooding. I think we earned the warmer temps. Quote

fivesixone Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 ...just like it was supposed to get cold tonight... I'll believe it when I see it. Beautiful weather all weekend. Might even try going to the beach on Sunday... 8-) Quote
Tom H. Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 - maybe my truck wont start... Don't we both wish this would come true - I don't really want to go to work anyway . It's gotten cold enough here that I brought both my dogs inside tonite - Even with heat lamps and enclosed kennels , I couldn't let them stay out ( I've got more cash in them than what I do in fishing gear , wonder if there is a dog training monkey ) Quote
