Do you believe, that PETA truly believes every fish you catch and release, dies. No I am not bsin you.

And the worst of it all, is these people are actually spreading this bs to people who don't know any better, and actually believe them.

Terrorist cult fanatics ::)  Maybe we should stop spraying for mosquitoes or killing roaches that invade our home or for that matter just stop breathing all together since our body is killing thousands of microorganisms every minute ;D

A while back I clicked some headline related to fishing on MSN's homepage and was linked to "fishing hurts" which. . .surprise, surprise. . .is a PETA site. They come within inches of equating C&R sport fishing with whaling and clubbing dolphins that get caught in tuna nets. Unbelievable propagandists.

Personally, I enjoy eating baby seals now and again....not on a regular basis, but enough to keep me in touch with my "wild side."

Say that to one of them and watch their faces    ;D

Haha! Yeah I didn't work my way to the top of the food chain to eat lettuce!

They are a terribly misguided and very irrational group of people.

Which is why they are impervious to traditional argumentative tools like logic, facts, and reason.

i never thought of a baby seal as something i'd like to eat, but its on the top of the list now.

"Clubbed to death". . . don't you mean "tenderized".

Seriously,

Does anyone know of a "real" person who is in PETA?  I often wonder if their media campaign is controlled by a small group of radical rich spoiled brats.  I just hate that they prey on our children.

Well they are ABSOLUTELY right!! 100% of all the fish you catch die. So do 100% of all the fisherman, their dogs, family friends, etc. Eventually, even the sun will die.  LOL.

But really what do they expect. I don't care what breed, when you throw kittens into water, they drown.

That is genius Dan!! Genius!!

To PETA:

Every year each Bass alone causes the death of countless sea-kittens. They feed on male, female, even baby sea kittens. They are relentless, often swalling them whole. Sometimes devouring whole families in a single gulp.

What's worse, like a scene out of jaws, even helpless mice, froggies, and little grasshoppers are not safe. As a Bass will attack them from below without warning.

We at BassResource.com  are vigorously fighting this scourge. Catching these Bass one by one. When possible we will have a tough discussion with them, take a photo (for our records) and release them, hoping they change their ways. Please support us in this pivitol campaign....

Sounds like their way of thinking.

LOL.

Actually, back in the early 90's I played in a punk band, and the bass player was an animal rights activist.  I believe he had associations with PETA.

One of my best friends is a vegetarian for ethical reasons, and would more likely shoo a spider out the door than step on it.  He has perspective though, and its a peorsonal choice, not a will he imposes on others.  He and I have even gone out on fishing trips, though he doesn't actually fish.  He gets it.  He's told me that he's learned more about the ecology of local fishes and how anglers are the eyes and ears on the water that are quick to spot environmental issues.

And oh, BTW, he IS a hypocrite: He draws the line at horse flies.  that is one animal that "deserves to die."  Direct quote from my tree huggin' buddy  ;D

Personally, I think their outrageous, outlandish, and illogical statements are a blessing, for no logical, rational person will give them any credit. Thank your lucky stars whenever they come out with bizzare campaigns and slogans.  People just laugh at them for being so ridiculous.

Yes, but be sure to give those naughty bass a good talking to prior to releasing them lest they fail to mend their evil ways and convert to eating carrots and alfalfa.

Lol, I had an arguement with one, on why they hate fishing, and they said one of the reasons was because fish have families.

Families!? These people honestly believe a fish's "family" has the same meaning as it does with people. Like they reproduce, buy a home in a stickpile, and all live together happily ever after.

I told them that fish eat their own young, and after their young are born, they put them in the class of "fair game" eating wise. Hahaha, their stupidity is mind blowing.

Screw 'em. I'm starting my own organization:

People Eating Tasty Animals.

Our logo will be a clueless treehugger being bludgeoned by hunters and fisherman. :D

Who's with me ?

Or better still, tell them that you don't enjoy eating them so much as just clubbing them.
