hjerk24 Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Just wanted to see what you had to say. I got an Ipod for Christmas and will be fishing with it as well. So just wanted to see what 10 songs may get you psyched, or in the zone. Not thinking about it too much, I'd say.... 1. Intergalactic- Beastie Boys 2. Who Wouldn't Want to Be Me- Keith Urban 3. Here's to You- Rascal Flatts 4. Someday- Steve Earle 5. Live Like You Were Dying- Tim McGraw 6. Thunderstruck- AC/DC 7. Don't Worry, Be Happy- Bobby McFerrin 8. Voice of Truth - Casting Crowns 9. Southern Cross- Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young 10. Son of a Sailor- Jimmy Buffet Bit of an Eclectic Group of Songs, but a good list. Let's see where this goes. Could see some songs that we could check out and download for ourselves. I reserve the right to remove songs from my list, if made fun of too excessively, or remove the post if no one wants to share????? Either Way......I am Pumped!!!! Jamie Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted January 8, 2009 Super User Posted January 8, 2009 I get "psyched and in the zone" when I hear the faint splash of a bass taking a bug from the water's surface, the swirl of a bass just under the surface, or the beep of my sonar as it changes depth ranges. I don't add any noise to my fishing. Quote
hjerk24 Posted January 8, 2009 Author Posted January 8, 2009 That's cool. I have yet too either, but I could def. see jamming some tunes while throwing the buzzer or a popper first thing in the AM, or while cranking down a sweet stretch of water. I dig the solace of nature as well...but am also psyched, for some strange reason, to catch a few nice bass while jamming. I also want to hear what others may have in their audio assault vaults. Good Fishing...Loud or Soft ;D Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 The pump for us is cranking the music on the way to the lake, no music on the water. I need my sense of hearing for the hunt. Quote
Super User Gone_Phishin Posted January 9, 2009 Super User Posted January 9, 2009 I don't own an Ipod, so if i'm listening to music on the water it's the local oldies or country station. Most of the time I don't have the radio on, unless there's a Brewers game or NASCAR race on. Quote
bowtech_182 Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 I have been known to listen to some Slipknot or Seether when I am throwing a crankbait or rattle trap. Quote
tallydude Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 I'm with LBH. No music when I'm on the water. I want all my senses for the hunt. Quote

Super User fishfordollars Posted January 14, 2009 Super User Posted January 14, 2009 No IPOD or radio in my boat. Just me cussing the wind when I'm on the lake. Cell phone is enough distraction for me. Quote
Daniel A. Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Cell phone is enough distraction for me. That stays in the truck. "I just don't get any service out there. Maybe I'm too far away from the tower." ;D Quote
