bmadd Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Well I'm getting ready to head to Nashville to watch the Titans take on the ugly birds. Raining here now and will be following us to Music City. Hopefully it will die down before kickoff. Looking forward to it. It should be a great game. Hopefully we can return the favor this year. The last time these two teams met in the playoffs the winner went on to win the Super Bowl. Ya'll enjoy it from the couch or recliner 8-) Quote
SuburbanBassaholic301 Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Hey bmadd. its time for the "ugly birds" to whoop on your titans. lets go baltimore!!! Quote
Troutfisher Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Whoever wins in the AFC Championship (which will be the Steelers and Titans) will win the Super Bowl. 8-) Quote
Jake. Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Whoever wins in the AFC Championship (which will be the Steelers Chargers and Titans) will win the Super Bowl. 8-) Fixed it for ya. Quote
Super User Tin Posted January 10, 2009 Super User Posted January 10, 2009 Whoever wins in the AFC Championship (which will be the Steelers and Titans) will win the Super Bowl. 8-) :-? .... Not when you also have the Eagles, Giants, and Panthers in the NFC... And the Ravens should take it to the Titans. Quote
SuskyDude Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Ravens have, I think, a very good chance of taking this game. AFC- Ravens, Steelers NFC- Giants, Panthers. (G-men all the way!) Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted January 10, 2009 BassResource.com Administrator Posted January 10, 2009 What's with all the penalties? I thought these teams were supposed to be good? Either way, whomever wins, they're going to be so beat up there won't be many players left to play the next game. Sheesh, they're dropping like flies! Quote
fathom Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 looks like the nfl officials need to invest in some tag hauers. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted January 11, 2009 Super User Posted January 11, 2009 No tears... Titans played an awful game and deserved to lose. Congratulations Raven fans! Quote
Super User Sam Posted January 11, 2009 Super User Posted January 11, 2009 That was the hardest hitting football game I have seen. Sorry the Titans lost. Great game. Now to see how far the Ravens can go. Quote
Super User grimlin Posted January 11, 2009 Super User Posted January 11, 2009 The ravens were out to prove something. I'm shocked. Quote
Super User BrianinMD Posted January 11, 2009 Super User Posted January 11, 2009 Flacco does not play like a rookie....... Quote
fathom Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 you know, have watched a lotta games this year. it has always amazed me how differently folks play in the regular season and how they play in post season. tonight, i saw 5 helmets fly off folks' heads...ain't seen that many all year...both defenses played like banshees on their back...my hat's off to each. was for the titans all the way and there's a few less breakable objects in the living room now but, it ain't like the titans didn't have their chance. good game. Eddie Munster Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Pittsburgh Steeler fan here but I was rooting for the Ravens today. If Pitt can beat San Deigo tomorrow, they play the Ravens for the 3rd time this year and it will be in Pittsburgh. Quote
detroit1 Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Holy crap! There was some hitting in this game. Great game. I wish the Cards/Panthers game was a little better. Oh no Delhomme just got intercepted AGAIN..... Quote
bmadd Posted January 11, 2009 Author Posted January 11, 2009 It was definitely a hard hitting game. These two teams have always played hard and there as always been a grudge back to when they were in the same division. Now to you people who said the Ravens took it to the Titans? The Ravens were +4 in turnover ratio and only won 13-10. The Titans handed it away and if they don't play better then they did yesterday against the winner of the Chargers/Steelers...they'll get taken to the woodshed. Quote
